This was a pretty cute hole in the wall restaurant. The sushi I ordered was very good and very fresh. The egg rolls my friend ordered were fresh and crispy. Our server was very kind and made sure we had everything we needed. The only issue I had was that the restaurant had a Mexican restaurant type of feeling. Hispanic art on the wall and Hispanic music playing. Not an issue for me but it did kind of surprise me a little as this is a sushi restaurant.

I love this place and the sushi is amazing. I just wish the service was a bit better. The food is expensive and I get why, but that means their customer service should be on point. They hardly ever answer the phone so that whole plan to take food to go only means you have to go there to order and then either come back or sit there to wait for the food. It does take a bit longer to get the food and sometimes you are skipped over. Over everything though we keep coming back for the amazing food.

First time here. Recently moved to Prunedale. Service was a bit slow.. the sushi rolls I ordered were phenomenal. I stick to one of my favorite places usually and hate getting disappointed when I try different sushi restaurants. This one did not as far as their food goes. Delicious and will be back!

I would of gave one star but our waitress was very attentive. I’m sorry to disappoint everyone who likes this place but this is not good sushi. It was edible but it’s not a place I would ever re visit again. The combo tempura was mediocre ok. It didn’t have that nice thick outer layer of crisp. What I was served didn’t look anything like the picture that was on the menu. The sushi was rolled sloppy, it fell apart when you will pick them up. The sizes where extremely small, the rolls tasted a little warm for being sushi. A tad scary to be honest. Presentation was good I will give them that. The cleanliness of the restaurant was good. Overall if you want real authentic sushi this is definitely not the place. Don’t waste your time and money.

This is not an authentic Japanese restaurant. The restaurant is a Mexican owned restaurant and the owner attempts to create his own version of Sushi and Japanese cuisine. The customer service is not the most attentive and not the friendliest. It is also pretty slow. The Sushi was very different and lacking any sort of flavour except for the sauces used that really didn’t help.

I’ve been here numerous times. First time at their new location, a couple doors over. Larger space for sure. My co-worker and I get there. Maybe only 3 tables occupied, 3 or 4 gals working the front. They look at us with a semi blank stare, when we mention there are two of us.
