To all desi (or non-desi Indians food lovers), this is a place to be, if you like Indian food. Authentic, tasty, fresh and reasonable price. Go to their weekend buffet to try 15+ dishes according to your craving.

Today was the first time we tried this restaurant for lunch buffet. We were so impressed with the variety of dishes they offered. They had pakora curry, veggie samosa, chana curry, veggie chow mein, beef paya, chicken tikka masala, chili chicken, fish pakora, chicken curry, veggie pakora, goat curry, vegetable biryani, chicken tandoori, french fries, and plain rice. For dessert, they had kheer and gulab jamun, which was absolutely wonderful. They also gave us a choice of naan to choose from: Garlic or plain naan. We asked for garlic naan and they brought out garlic naan that was hot out of the oven. The naans were absolutely addicting- so fluffy and delicious. Everything on the menu was very fresh and good. Our only wish was that we had tried this restaurant sooner, but will definitely return again in the future. One suggestion for improvement is that the building looks very old, so if some upgrades are done to the interiors and restrooms, it will be great to host parties and gatherings.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a remarkable Pakistani restaurant, and I must say, it was an unforgettable culinary experience! From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a vibrant ambiance that transported me straight to the bustling streets of Lahore.

This place is filthy. The bathrooms are gross and there is no soap. There was also a nasty cockroach on the bathroom wall. The food was sub par with hardly any vegetarian options. They wanted 18 and change for a buffet plate. I also saw a colander on the floor with potatoes in it. The sacremento food inspectors really need to make a stop here.

I’ve been coming to this place for well over ten years, since the time before they moved to their current location. The food has always been rather good, which in the end is really what matters. I’ve had better food from the cuisine of the Indian subcontinent but then then I paid quite a bit more for that privilege. I think the place’s big selling point is the fact that many of my fellow diners are Pakistanis or Indian Muslims. Go where the locals eat has always been a good rule of thumb when choosing to eat Indian or Pakistani food. I’m particularly fond of their lamb/mutton/goat curry, depending upon which item they have on the buffet. And their garlic nan is really good. It’s usually quite thick and substantial, which is good because I’m not fond of thin nan. The service has always been pretty decent. Because this is a Pakistani establishment, it’s operated by Muslims and sometimes you can hear a call to prayer on a music system in the background. That’s never been a problem for me and it adds authenticity to the place. Before the pandemic, the place often hosted small parties in the back of the dining room, which they would then partition off for privacy. It made the restaurant rather loud at times but it never bothered me. The dining room is usually clean and tidy. And the owner, whose name I have never learned, has long recognized me and often greets me in a very friendly manner.

Didn’t enjoy at all. Only one dish with any flavor [pankora curry] and all the others were very bland. No chutneys. Naan the worst I’ve ever had, obviously frozen pre-made with little if any flavor. Even samosas bland. Very disappointed.

The chicken was old & smelly. The food did not match the photos & the owner was rude when attention to the chicken being spoilt was brought to his attention. DO NOT COME HERE!!!! There was no kabob
