I have no idea why this place has such a low rating. We have eaten here before and loved it, so much so that we walked 30 minutes this morning after finding out the coffee house we originally chose to walk to was closed. As it was just close to the place we are staying at.

Food was delicious. Fried green tomatoes and shrimp for breakfast. Don’t knock it till you try it. Was a little warm inside. Had floor fans running so maybe ac issue but it was also during the incredible hot spell that was going on.

The best thing was the ocean view. I order shrimp and grits – didn’t deliver. They weren’t gulf shrimp more like imported at best and the cream sauce wasn’t fresh tasted more frozen than anything. Waitress was offended that I wanted to send it back. Also the grits didn’t have any flavor at all. The pancakes were decent – but the syrup didn’t deliver at all. Oh and the bacon tasted old as well. I was highly disappointed.

Very nice restaurant for breakfast or a couple of lunch items. Closes at noon. Large windows to look out on the beach

What is better than a meal with a view! Eating breakfast each morning while looking at the ocean was the best way to start each day of our vacation. Not only is the food amazing but the staff working there makes the experience that much better. Food was fast, fresh and delicious (try the Gouda grits). This is a must try in the Gulf Shores area.

The food was OK. I don’t like the fact that it is inside of a hotel. Service was kind of slow. Overall, my experience was not excellent, but it was not horrible either. I think that this restaurant is overrated.

Overall not a great experience. Getting seated and the oceanside view is good. However, the service was somewhat slow. Not fresh crab in the crab cakes. All of our food was barely warm when it arrived. The server never returned to check in us until she delivered the check. Not worth the $70 dollars that we paid.

Fast service, accommodating & friendly hostess and waitress. Best of all the food was delicious. Had the shrimp & grits and regular breakfast of a couple eggs, hash browns, toast & country ham. All very good. If I have to have a complaint it would be that you should get more than a teaspoon of the mushroom sauce with the shrimp & grits. But truly not even worth taking a star off as they were still flavorful & yummy. Oh, and the view!

Decent food. Average breakfast restaurant. We got to the restaurant at the beginning of the morning rush. There was only one waitress at the time. She did great but more help was warranted earlier than it arrived.
