My first visit and I was delightfully surprised! Home cooking southern style, ample portions, different specials each day, plus a diverse menu of salads and sandwiches. JuJu’s was a produce market for 50 years in the same location, now expanded to a restaurant. Boiled peanuts and fresh pecans (staples for southerners) are for sale at JuJu’s. Come early if you want a slice of chocolate pie, it goes quickly. Their banana pudding is slowly stirred on the stove from fresh ingredients, these wonderful cooks don’t use a box mix!

A little hidden jewel. If in town it is a must stop for lunch. Great daily lunch special and menu items.

The “large” woman was rude to my friend while he ordered by phone. When I went to pick up his order, she was rude to me telling me that he needed to order sooner where she wouldn’t have to worry so much about getting it done before they could leave. I’m sorry but if you’re signed see if you close at 2 PM you don’t stop taking orders at 1:30 so you can leave at two. But if that is your policy, no problem I won’t be back there. He won’t be back there and I’m going to make sure everyone I know in Grenada, Mississippi and the surrounding area knows what a rude bunch of people work in this place.

Wonderful home cooked food. Colorful atmosphere and plenty on your plate! I had the fried pie for dessert which which I’m sure was made from scratch right on the spot.

I’ve enjoyed every meal I’ve ever eaten from Ju Ju’s. Its always hot, flavorful and fulfilling. The wait isn’t too excessive and I feel like it’s a really good bang for one’s buck. If you’ve never dined here, make it a point to do so VERY soon.

This food was so good. The chicken salad was so special and unique. The daily special was so on point. Affordable and a very special experience. The tea wasn’t good, but I would absolutely go back again.

Was traveling back north and stopped to grab boiled peanuts. I was 4 hours into my drive and already a bit antsy. So I stop and go in to find the boiled peanut goodness. They advertise them on their menu and online. I walk in and wait in line, get up to the front after 13 minutes, and am told that I have to go to the office outside. I wait in the office outside while a man talks to a supplier for around 5 more minutes. When he gets off the phone he tells me that it’s not the right season for them. Honestly, just update your information so that when people pass through, they know what to expect from you. The incredibly long wait to be turned away empty-handed was frustrating.

Traveling through for work and stopped in for lunch. The food is so fresh, straight from your grandma’s kitchen. Definitely try the pecan pie and banana pudding.
