It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I’ve been waiting on these apple pies, and spicy ketchup since we left Tucson 5 years ago! Even though the drive-thru was the only thing open and the line was forever and a day long…. They didn’t disappoint, well worth the wait!

This is the second time I’ve tried the food before I gave a review and I will say the second time having it and it was so much better! keep in mind it’s still a new place to our area and they only have drive-through option right now so it is kinda slow still, not sure when the inside opens but overall probably 1 of my favorite burgers in town!

For one it is a horrible spot to build a restaurant that has that much traffic. Aside from that the food was delicious. Everything was hot off the grill. The employees and manager were very friendly and accommodating. It’s only been open for a week, once they get used to the traffic , the lines will move much faster.

Went there today. They still haven’t opened inside. It’s drive thru only. Took 30 minutes to get my food. Got a chicken sandwich instead of a burger even though the sticker on the wrapper had the correct information on there. Brought it back to get it fixed. They told me to wait in the car and they’d bring it out . After 20 minutes my boyfriend went back because we still hadn’t gotten my food and he had finished eating already (he didn’t like it). They hadn’t even started making my burger yet. He came back 20 minutes later and said they just made it. The burger was ice cold. I couldn’t even eat it. Biggest disappointment ever.
