First time eating here! My order came out incorrect, and our waiter took it right back to have it fixed! I appreciated that.. He was extremely pleasant and very attentive and knowledgeable. Answered all my questions.

Holy WOW! House of Thai is EXCELLENT! I’ve been craving curry lately and had to stop in Cookeville. I stumbled upon this gem and just like that – turned out to be the best curry I’ve ever had. I went to the checkout to place a carry out. The 2 staff members that helped me were better than great in providing excellent customer service the guys name was Bryan (I did not catch the females name).. I was indecisive about getting the red curry or the panang curry – I went with the panang from recommendation. My total was $14. From the service to the atmosphere to the food it was all phenomenal!

Arleigh was our server and was amazing! She was very cheerful and made excellent suggestions. The food was really really good! Highly recommended the pho, the sushi was good but nothing special, and the udon pad thai was everything I wanted it to be. I would highly recommend as a quick spot for some yummy food!

Due to a health issue, my husband can’t have seeds. We’ve never had a problem getting the sushi without sesame seeds until last night. When we asked for the modification we were told that the sushi chef refused to make it without the seeds. We canceled the rest of our order and went somewhere else. It’s a shame they would lose business over seeds.

First off, we moved here from Southern California. Having lived in the diverse, Asian ethnic Garden Grove for several years, we had the privilege to eat at some of the best Asian restaurants, including Viet Namese, Thai, and Korean.

House of Thai and Rice Time Bistro (owned by same people) have bug infestations. I have eaten at both the last couple of months and had bugs in my food. Photos attached. I was told by several people who work at both kitchens they have a huge roach infestation and poor food hygiene. I have asked to speak to the owner each time and he refuses to come out of the kitchen. Too bad – these places were my favorite in Cookeville.

Awesome service! We went for lunch on New Years Day and they were open (regular hours). Started off with a soup, very light and delicious. Ordered an iced Thai tea which was great. Server was very attentive and kind, made the whole experience that much better! We ordered Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, Yellow curry, and Green curry. All at pretty good prices and all very good! The drunken noodle dish was too spicy for my friend, so order it mild if you’d like. It was a perfect spice level for me. I was too busy eating that I forgot to take pictures of the food besides the soup and tea.. oops!

Food was really good. I got mine “Thai Hot” and it was hot but definitely could of been hotter. I visibly noticed that they put Log of chili flakes/chili sauce in the food as opposed to making the curry hotter. It as still really good.

Outstanding and delicious food! I had the yellow curry with tofu and it was just the right level of spice and flavor. Highly recommend.
