The food was really inexpensive for hotel food and it was damn good and the staff was amazing. Especially Shay she usually works in the morning for the breakfast. At the time of posting this it was about $15 for the breakfast buffet and it was great.

Alina was great. We did the Valentine’s Day four course meal and it was terrific. Roses at the table in a secluded dining booth with great service. The tuna appetizer, the filet, and the apple crepe were delicious.

We had a group of 6 adults and 5 kids and the restaurant did a wonderful job accommodating us for brunch this past Saturday. The spread on the buffet was excellent! A lot of options, and all delicious! Our server was Shay, she was so busy but did a phenomenal job taking care of us. Very kind, attentive, and hustled her butt off. Overall, highly recommend.

I had a pastrami sandwich, which was ok, toasted little dark for my taste. The server was great. Did find it odd that meeting family from out of town for dinner we were the only ones there at 6pm. Was the first time we had been there since it was the Marriott. Wasn’t as impressed

Massive disappointment. The place was almost empty, and it still took a hilarious long time to get our food. The quality of the good was poor too. The steak was an odd 3 in x 3 in ball / chunk of meat, that while prepared properly, was of poor quality and had a flavor I can only describe as dirty. We were really hoping to find a good go-to place in IRL, but this ain’t it. Paid parking in the garage unless you find street parking.

I absolutely look forward to the Egg White Fritta (Best one ever I swear) when I am here, but the best thing about Edgewater grill is the people!!!!! Kennedy and Wenjin make it feel like home! Wenjin is the BEST hostess and barista! Kennedy is sweet, a hard worker and makes it very clear that you can relax, enjoy the food and work all at the same time. THANK YOU Coralville Hyatt Reg!!!!
