Stopped in as we were traveling through per the reviews on Google Maps. We are glad we did. Marty was fantastic, very kind, helpful, even in the midst of the lunch rush! She was calm, smiling, and friendly. The food was great and the restaurant was nicely decorated. The bathroom was clean as well. Again, all in the midst of the lunch rush. The restaurant was full with a steady flow of business. The staff worked well together through it all. We will stop again when we are in the area.

Nice experience. The cheeseburger was grilled wonderfully and tasted good. The bun was a little large though (personal preference). The fries were good too. This is also a coffeehouse. I’d like to come back to try a latte or some other coffee creation.

I had the spaghetti lunch special, husband had pattie melt and fries. Both meals were absolutely delicious!! We like crispy, but not overcooked fries–these fries were superb! The meat sauce over my spaghetti was thick, full of meat. Service was exceptional!! You should dine here!!!

The hashbrowns were golden and butter. The inlet was stuffed and fluffy. Very fluffy biscuits and creamy gravy for the biscuits and gravy. But the star of our meal was the waffle; flavorful with cinnamon and vanilla, fluffy, filling but light. The waffle was hot but not over done (many waffles are so crisp they feel like they will cut the roof off your mouth but here they are perfect). Definitely returning.

Spent $35 on two omelettes, one hashbrowns, two drinks. After tip that’s $40 for pretty basic food. Service was awful. Server didn’t bring us refills until we flagged her down after nursing the last dregs of our drink as she came to ask how food was and dropped off check in same visit. I usually chalk up such service to being busy however our server was chatting and chilling with other tables and providing them good service just fine. The other server spent quite a long time talking to her grandparents at the table behind us, so they chose to neglect our table.

I’ve been to this diner a couple times to order coffees & they have a surprisingly good frappe. But today I stood for 10mins while they dealt with another customer & then when I finally placed my order I was told it would be awhile, that they had tables to wait on & not enough employees (saw 3 waitress today/small diner) so basically because I was waiting at the counter I couldn’t be served but if I had taken up an unnecessary table & ordered food with my frappe it would have been made?? I’m a gastrectomy patient I don’t order food unless my spouse is with me & rarely “eat in” as such. They advertise “to go'” service btw. This didn’t really make sense to me today!

Same happened to me as well today as far as being waited on at the counter, guess if I’d taken a table, I could have placed an order, only wanted a coffee frappe. Should’ve put a sign that says no to go orders even you can’t even accommodate a 1 drink order.
