If you are craving Asian street fair then this place is a great option. The menu is much larger than that we expected. The food is cooked fresh and each item came with different sauces. I love that everything did not taste the same. Did not love the soft shell crab and the manager took care of it immediately. Great service and fast!

Ordered Beef Ramen. I asked if the noodles were made in house and they didn’t know. The noodles were really good and the beef was very tender and had a little fat on it (the way I like it). The price at $16 for a lunch bowl of ramen was a little steep compared to Pho somewhere else. I’m going back to try other things for sure. Wish they had some Thai Street food dishes too.

This restaurant was incredible from the time we walked in! The staff was amazing, and the cuisine, oh my god!!!! Being big fans of Asian food My wife had found Bakudan and it stopped her once for lunch. So she suggested that we go there together so I can make an assessment of the food she knew I’d like to atmosphere. Bakudan follows the latest trend of these new fast food Asian spots with wallpaper covered in manga or Asian comics. Big plus is they actually have a TV that is playing a current manga show. Bakudan menu is primarily noodles rice bowls and in the two times I was there I tried one of the noodles bowls and one of the rice bowls. The food is tasty but you can tell from some of the dishes that the food is made some time ago and you’re just getting it reheated. This is true of the pork cutlet I had. Wonderfully breaded, nicely crisp, but cold. The bed of rice it was on was cold. Now the curry that they provided in a puddle alongside the rice was hot. The noodle bowl was typical of this type of cuisine where this broth is scalding hot and everything else is laid inside the broth so it heats up you really don’t notice it other than the meat was rather chewy indicating it wasn’t freshly made. Overall, I’d still consider going back there for the noodle bowls and to try some of the other sides they provide, if they have them as I asked about one of the street corn dishes which they replied they were out of.
