Passing thru town and stopped in. Ribs were good, although a little greasy. Good bbq sauce. Where the place lacked was their sides. Had the coleslaw and potato salad, both were very bland, no seasoning. Potato salad tasted like it came out of a big tub, not made fresh. Husband had pinto beans, said they were bland too

I always stop through here on my way back home and it’s 1.5 hours out of my way. I stopped going to coopers in junction after finding this place. The brisket is to die for and the portions are good sized as well. I am from San Antonio area and travel around for food often. I just haven’t found anything comparable. Best BBQ in Texas!

Absolutely the worst BBQ I’ve ever had. The sausage is greasy and salty, the brisket is dry and bland no flavor at all. Other than the fact that it all tasted like liquid smoke and lighter fluid. The potato salad, I mean if you even want to call it that. It was more like pickled mashed potatoes again no flavor whatsoever. The coleslaw was gross and was made with wilted cabbage. For the owner to be as proud as she was of her establishment. It appears that she should take more pride in the food attached to her name. Literally the the McRib at McDonald’s taste better. Now that’s sad.

I was blessed to be able to try the pulled pork sandwich that my mom received on Saturday here in Dallas from Follow the Smoke BBQ . OMG!!! It is the best that I have ever had!!! Thank you all for bringing your delicious food to the Dallas area. We might just have to drive all the way to Lamesa!!!

This place here hass best BBQ by far that I have had. The brisket is smoked just right, the loaded baked potatoes are pretty big and taste amazing. My favorite is the Minnie’s Nachos, with plenty of chopped brisket and cheese. I also get the peach cobbler a la mode, that is, if they aren’t sold out! The best BBQ place in Texas by far!

Stopped here while on the road, relying soley on google reviews and not knowing what to expect. If you are weighing weather or not you should give this place a try, let me assure you you absolutely need to ! The food here is insane! The brisket was to die for, the baked potato was HUGE and loaded to the max, and the nachos were the best I have ever had!! To top that off they offered us the meal for free to thank my husband for his service in our great nation’s Air Force. Do your pallet a favor and stop by. The people are friendly with texas sized hearts, the restaurant is cozy and welcoming with some really neat decor, the food superb! 5 STARS ***** !!!

Great food! Our favorite has been the lean brisket with extra sauce but since they have fried fish and shrimp on Friday’s that’s our FRIDAY FAVORITE! Guess I’d better call them for a take out TODAY!

Had the Borracho sandwich…pretty good stuff! I’ve been passing by for a few months, this sandwich is two things…1. Cheap..2. Excessive amount of chopped brisket, beans and crispy Fritos. Pickles and onions and peppers top it off.

I would recommend this place to eat the most tender, tasty awesome ribs you have eaten. Let’s not forget the hmmmm brisket, sausage, catfish, hamburgers, fresh French fries. The loaded bake potatoes are out of this world !!. They also have lots of other vegetables. Ohhh they also have homemade cherry, peach, apple cobblers & banana pudding, ( sometimes they have homemade brownies.)

This place was the best barbecue experience I have had in my life. I am overly critical of good food, as it is my profession to be, and FTS is hands down the greatest. Great service. Awesome food. Highly recommend.
