I had a craving for fried fish, and in Watson, your choices are very limited as to where you can get it as carry-out. So I called in an order to Linda’s as I crossed over the Magnolia Bridge and drove straight there. I went through the drive-thru line and had a short wait to get to the window. Got my fish plate and headed home about 3-5 minutes away. Got home, and my fish and fries were both hot and fresh tasting. My fish craving was successfully fulfilled! I always see people writing about how good Linda’s is, but I have only been a few times. Well, add me to the list of very satisfied customers!

On a recent visit I ordered their onion rings. The best I’ve tasted, (which were not too long ago removed for a different version and added back due to customer requests) and upon getting home found they were burnt and other pieces of items on their menu was in my order, gizzard and chicken batter.

Disappointing. Three pieces of dark meat chicken comprised two drumsticks and a partial thigh. Not much value for $10! Otherwise it was OK but the cost for two elderly people of over $28 was a bit steep. We’ll try Popeyes next time.
