This is the second time I am eating from Suwannee Kabab house, first time ordered chicken karhai and platter. Both were good , this time I ordered for take away mutton karhai ( it was highly recommended by them last time) and pulao. The quantity was very less and the kharai was tasteless.

Visited for the first time, I ordered Chapali Kabab, Kabuli Rice and Daal. Chapali Kabab reminded me of Chapali Kabab from Al Asif square Karachi, Kabulu rice and daal were perfect. Food was served within 15 mins and it was warm and fresh.

They served complimentary iftar (Chana chat, fruit chat, pakora, roohafza and khajoor). The food was awesome and the serving size was appropriate for the prize. We ordered Beef tikka kabob and chicken kofta kabab and both the kabob’s were delicious. Will come back again. Thank you for a good iftar experience.

Visited this place with family and friends. Location seems a little unusual to me. Anyways, first the attitude of owner / server was super nice and though he didn’t had much workforce that day he was handling everything very professionally and with a smile. Now let’s come to taste of food, we ordered Kafta kabab, manto afghani, Qabuli pulao and chicken tikka kabab. I was more into tasting Manto but it was not what I expected. So it could be something close to heart of afghani people but was not for me. Qabuli pulao was good but the lamb shank in that was not as tender and juicy. The kafta kabab seemed little overcooked as well. I would say that price of things were pretty affordable. I might not come back again as it’s not my flavor but definitely worth 1 time shot and if some afghani brothers can validate its authenticity, it might be a good addition to thier cuisine.

Overall good experience, Mutton Karahi was excellent, we also ordered Afghani Platter was enough for 5 to 6 people and kabuli pulao everything was served hot and authentic afghani flavor .
