Wow, fantastic!!! First time I had the Iranian variation. Not one bad taste on my plate… thank you for taking care of us! Its carry out with a few tables. Only reason I dropped 1 star on atmosphere.

I first stumbled upon this place because I was in the area running errands and was looking for some place to eat. I found this place on Yelp. I was surprised to see an Iranian restaurant in the area considering this is Stafford County, VA. This is NOT Northern, VA, Washington D.C. or Montgomery County, MD.

Saffron Chicken was good. Lamb, rice and chickpeas were ok, have had better rice and chick peas at most other kabob places.

Tried this out based on the great reviews. The food looked amazing. However, our chicken and lamb kabob were dry, and naan wasn’t included. The price is $3-4 higher per entree than the nearby Kabob Corner, which we’ll probably go with the next time around.

Excellent food! Nicely marinated. Not spicy still very flavorful. I work close by and I usually get the chicken wrap at least three times a week. Highly recommend!

The food is great. My wife found them a while back. I was skeptical because I had bad experiences with Persian food at other restaurants. However, the food here tastes so good and always fresh. I’m glad we live close to this place.

I have had their chicken and lamb kabobs twice now in the last four weeks and it is very consistent. Saffron chicken and the lamb kebab, and it was absolutely delicious. I’m not a big fan of lamb because of my past experience with lamb was not good. I’m always willing to give it another try, And all I can say is OMG!! Their meats and sides are absolutely delicious and well cooked. They cook to order so it’s always fresh and moist. I am so glad that they’re in our area. I will be ordering from them frequently. I have tried a couple of the other kebab restaurants in our area. One in Stafford marketplace and the other down the road off of Jeff Davis Highway, and their food just cannot compare. If you want very delicious food that is not gonna burn your taste buds on the first bite, then I highly recommend you give Shandiz Kabob a try! I guarantee you’ll be satisfied. The best way is to call ahead because they do make it fresh so it takes a little time. 20 minutes tops. Truly a gem to seek out. Very unassuming location next to a gas station/food mart. I wouldn’t be surprised if in a few years they could expand to a full-size restaurant. Right now, mostly takeout, but so worth it!!!
