This has to be one of if not the best restaurants for steaks in all of South Carolina, including Charleston (where I’m originally from.) The owner ran a top restaurant in NYC before moving to Aiken, and it shows. The quality of the meat is unbelievable. Even cooked well-done the steak is moist and tender. Yes. It can be done. Excellent!

Went here expecting something special and not typical Aiken food experience. Absolutely unimpressed with the entire experience. You pay big city prices for horrible service and mediocre food. Please save your money and go to outback or longhorn for better service, better food, and better prices. Go to Columbia for these prices. 4 people dined for $322. The waiter was unattentive, and the manager watched us not enjoy our food and made no attempt at asking, and the drink options are horrible. Steak was all right but not for the price. Beware the low reviews are indictive of my same experience. This restaurant may seem special for someone who had never left Aiken for actual proper food experience. Literally the lowest rated restaurant on Google in Aiken…

LOVE this place! Such a gem–the service from the moment you walk in to when you leave is A++. You can tell that everyone really cares about your experience. From the manager to the servers–they are all attentive to your needs. And “fogettabout” the food! Ridiculously fresh and delicious. Steaks of course are amazing, but so is everything else on the menu. I had an incredible Manhattan–their selection of bourbons is beyond. It’s a fantastic night out. My husband and I absolutely loved it and can’t wait to go back again!

I had a marvelous 8oz filet cooked to perfection.. PERFECTION.. however I did not love the escargot, so they graciously removed the item from my check. Eating at prime was an experience, the atmosphere was wonderful and quaint. The service was impeccable, second to none… the best.. Sadly I’m not sure i can afford to go too many times a year, maybe a once a year special occasion. We met Randy, the owner and he was a very nice man.

Will never come back! The server started by saying they had a full bar. When I asked for an earthy gin drink I got a Tom Collins and paid 18.50 for gin and club soda. When I told her to ask the bartender I know she never did. My seafood was overcooked and coated in heavy lemon juice that the manager and server watched me drain it off my food and never came over. When the bill came and I finally could tell her, all she said is this is a classic bar not a craft cocktail and huffed off. No apologies were ever made. Paid full price at $80 a person. I’ve never been treated that rudely especially at a place that is known for special occasions (which it was and she also never asked when the table next to us was getting continual birthday wishes). The steaks were good per the rest of our party but not worth anywhere close to what we paid.

Our waitress Joy was an absolute gem. The ribeye was fantastic and the chicken was the best we ever have had, anywhere. Would highly recommend this place. Was a great experience.

Seafood at a steakhouse? Well my wife and I had the salmon and it was fabulous! My wife is extremely particular about how salmon is cooked and she loved it. We were fascinated by the artwork. Our gracious waitresses brought a book to our table about the artist. Very enjoyable evening for to out-of-towners

Everything was great, waitress was fantastic, food was good. Prices was a little high for the quality. Also, they don’t do substitution on sides. I think due to the hours open, they rush you out for the reservation and the waiting patrons.

We have wanted to try Prime since we spotted it in passing while heading somewhere else months ago. My fiancé has his birthday on the fourth, so I figured tonight was the perfect time to treat him. Upon entering, the place was very nice, and the hostess asked if we had reservations. We did not, but they were also not necessary.
