Everything was delicious! Their mango habenero had just the right sweet and just the right spicy. We wanted more and more of it. Our waiter was really sweet and kept making sure everything was how we wanted, and the live music they play is great too.

Got the tuetano with esquite and the sopa de tortilla. Service was okay, took a bit to come to our table. But overall everything was good. ☺️ will come back.

I was turned on to this restaurant by my brother who could not stop going on and on about his place.

This review would have been a 5 out of 5 but the lady sat us next to the alarm that rings front door. The food was perfect the authentic Mexican food was to die for. I would go back for sure. Great for birthday or a romantic dinner with your spouse. It’s a must have if your in the brownsville area.

Love this restaurant very fine dinning and service as well! Only thing I can ask for is more room in the dinning area; I kept getting bumped into by the hard working servers/waiters. Again amazing food and service with great/fun atmosphere for a birthday as well! Check out the pics!

As someone who’s been to Mexico many times in her life & knows delicious, authentic Mexican food, this place is insane! The food is delicious. The drinks are fresh & tasty. Homemade everything, from what I can tell. If you like chicharrones, try theirs! The tortillas hechas a mano are to die for. You will not regret it! It’s a must when I’m in Brownsville! And probably the only reason my boyfriend will travel here with me on my work trips lol. Cons: it is smaller/more crowded than other places, but well worth it. Also 3 out of the 5 times I’ve visited, the wait staff wasn’t the friendliest but they were the only 2 for the whole restaurant, so they may have just been over sat. But the live sax player made the wait worth it.

Today was my first and last visit. My husband and I were seated near a trash can and the bar. The bar was a dumping place for dirty glasses.

The restaurant is good overall, lacks more staff and better preparation. The drinks were great the food was good but took long. The bone marrow was good; my girl ordered the Tampiqueña, the fajita was under cooked and the plate was supposed to come with charro beans which never made it to the table. I would give this spot another try, feels like it has potential might have been a bad day to go.

Had a great experience here! My spicy cucumber margarita was yummy and the food was flavorful. We were also serenaded by a mariachi band. It was a lovely date.
