Pit boys do a very good job of keeping the workplace dining and restrooms clean . .however the food was not what I expected. My coworkers go on and on about this place I’ve been traveling the country searching for a great Bar B Que joint and this on does NOT ever hit the mark …. I will give them another chance so see If anything changes.

Wow what a delight. The food and service were perfect. The crab dip is awesome, best I’ve had anywhere. Had ribs and fried chicken. Served piping hot. Steamed shrimp. Huge and cooked perfectly. Wedge salad was good. Crisp and fresh. A tiny place but a gem for a well cooked meal. Family owned and run. Jamie was our server. She was great.

Recently we had Pit Boys serve crabs for a Celebration of Life in memory of our mom. Everything about Pit Boys was phenomenal! The crabs were a good size and terrific. The women who set up and served never stopped making sure all guests had what they needed. They kept the crabs coming. Their clean-up was quick and thorough. We could not have asked for a better experience. The price was very reasonable. Thank you, Pit Boys!

Ordered two dozen jumbo crabs. Got home and the crabs were at best large and mostly medium. And most of the crabs only had one claw. What a rip off. Had heard good thing about this place. So much for listening to others. I will not be going back. $300 for what should have been no more than $200. Never again.

My mother & I are in town for a figure skating competition from Pittsburgh & since we are in Maryland we wanted crab for dinner! So the search started! We came across Pit Boys & called to double check to see if the did have crab, they did! When we arrived the owner asked what we were planning on eating & we told her we were interested in having crabs! Turns out they usually close on Sundays at 7pm but they made an exception for us, thank goodness! We ordered a dozen crabs & enjoyed every single one! They were cooked perfectly, the meat was sweet & juicy, & the old bay seasoning was just the right amount! There was plenty of seating complete with wooden picnic style benches, a bar, & $1 homemade cookies for dessert! If you’re in the mood for some amazing crab with a chill atmosphere & kind people, look no further than Pit Boys! You can thank me later! Cheers!

The steamed shrimp were cooked and seasoned just right. The shrimp are very large and peel and eat was perfect for me because of hand issues. I have never had anything else from the menu until yesterday.

Went tonight for all you can eat crabs at $45/person. First dozen were barely warm like they had been reheated from earlier, second dozen were steaming hot and great, we then waited for 15-20 minutes with no crabs as the waitress passed our table multiple times. Had to get up at one point and ask the guy running food to get her attention. The third batch we asked for only 1/2 dozen and the crabs came hot but multiple smelled strongly like chemicals. A quick google and we learned that crabs that smell like ammonia are crabs that were already dead when cooked. Will not be back for crabs. The waitress was great until she just stopped checking on us.

Ordered 3 dozen crabs and realized when i got home that they weren’t freshly steamed. As well as most of them were light and empty and the meat inside was mushy. Not sure if they were steamed in too much water or what. When i called she accused me of being late for pickup. When in actuality i had to wait for the crabs to get ready once i got there. She said “crabs get cold fast”. In my 20 years of eating crabs, i have never had 3 dozen of crabs get cold within 20 mins. She also mentioned that they have no control over how heavy or light the crabs are. But im sure the store has some control over who their crab-men is. Will not be going back!

Great crabs and crab legs. The crab dip was delicious. Try the hush puppies served with honey. Friendly service. The owner checked on us and made sure everything was good.
