First time being here. So happy for such an authentic Lotus stems salad ( gỏi ngó sen tôm thịt). The roasted duck (vịt quay) and its dipping sauce are wonderful. Staff is friendly and very helpful (and she speaks fluent Vietnamese as well as English). Lovely place. Will definitely come back in the summer for soft shell crab.

Ordered ahead, quoted 20 min, ended up being 10 minutes late at half an hour. I value my 10 min so that was a big deduction. Cashier also forgot about my thai tea until I brought it up and was about to walk out without it. Needs to pay attention more. Might change my rating if I see change

Pretty decent spot. Banh mi was good and the noodles were good as well. The caramelized fish flavoring wasn’t as good. It was too salty or I think they used fish paste sauce. I took it home and added more water. It tasted better. The fried rice was too oily.

Pretty good food! My first time there and they’re very nice and friendly. I like that they have a big menu of Vietnamese dishes to try.

My Wife brought me here for dinner and the place was short staffed and one gentleman working during the dinner rush. The restaurant was pretty full but we grabbed a seat. Eventhough short staffed, the gebtleman was very quick to take order and serve (a second gentleman got there to lend a hand shortly after we arrived). We wanted (i wanted to) try the House Special Roast Duck, which looked amazing on the picture online (i should mention at this point I am not a fan of Duck meat). I originally thought the restaurant did not serve alcoholic beverages but was pleased to see that they actually do serve. I got the Beer Lao Dark(they ran out of the Vietnamese Beer) and it was really good. My Wife went with Chardonnay. We ordered Shrimp Skewer, Lotus Root Salad and Hot & Sour Soup. Every single dishes were above average and knocked other local asian restaurants out of the park. Im talking about New York City style taste (if you went around all the boroughs in New York City, you would know what I’m on about). So the Shrimp Skewer was really good and flavourful. The Lotus Root Salad was so so so good. The Hot and Sour Soup is more like Sweet and Sour, however, the flavour of the chicken broth is out of this world and yes there is pineapple in the soup (I don’t like pineapple on food unless its a dessert), but we didnt mind in this case because the soup was oh so delicious! There were Okra in the soup also which was delightfully odd but in the best way possible. Now onto the House Special Roast Duck, it tasted even better than it looked and we absolutly loved it. My Wife likes Duck but not the general Chinese Ducks. This Duck had above and beyond flevour and crispy just the way it should be. This is the BEST Asian/Vietnamese restaurant not just in Annapolis, but in entire Maryland.

I known the place since they opened. Everything used to be more affordable, but more dishes were added and prices went up. I grew up with Vietnamese food and my go to spots were in VA and mo co area. In the Annapolis area they do not have many Vietnamese restaurants. The food overall is only ok. Nothing special. However, I was rather dissatisfied about a 14 buck dish with 7 pieces of ribs and some sweet sauce. Pho here is 10 bucks (my spot 6 bucks). A sub here is 6 bucks (my VA spot 6 subs for 15). Over priced for what it is worth. Just my option.

Worst Vietnamese meal I’ve ever had. Pancake should be crispy not burnt it should also have pieces of real pork not pork roll and a sprinkle of onion not filled with onions and barely any shrimp what was in it was cut in half, also was so soggy on the bottom it was floating in oil. Same with the other meal pork was saturated in oil. If I wanted that I would have ordered from a Chinese restaurant, I am embarrassed for them that they felt okay with sending this out.

Tried this place based on online reviews. No clue how this place has a 4.5 star rating. Probably the worse oriental food I’ve ever had! We chose contactless delivery by mistake. Even still, our food was dropped at our front step without any notification, not even a knock. Definitely won’t be going back to this place.
