This taco joint was recommended to me 3 days ago, and i’ve been back for dinner twice since. I noticed some bad reviews, so I had to chime in. If they dropped the ball on your order, at least give them a chance to fix it. When it comes to hidden gems like these, I gotta stick up for the small private owned restaurants, especially post-covid. I ordered Barria Burrito, with a small side of sour cream, and small side of salsa. They went above and beyond both visits, and I can honestly say it’s definitely one of the best Mexican joints in Connecticut, even compared to the food trucks on Long Wharf in New Haven. The ingredients are fresh, the food is priced right, the service is polite and fast, and the food is worth the 20 minute drive from across the river. I even uploaded a picture of the meal straight outta the bag. Their food is so freakin’ good, the menu is amazing, I give them ten stars. Salsa’s 3 is the best mexican restaurant in Middletown thus far. You guys rock! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I got the carne asada tacos and they were literally the best tacos I’ve ever had, and at a very reasonable price. Super friendly employees and the food was very authentic. The restaurant isn’t super fancy, but it had a great authentic Mexican feel, plus they had a ton of imported Mexican sodas. The place is definitely a 10/10

Decent taqueria food in Middletown. Solid burritos, but the California burrito is not as adventurous flavor-wise as others I have had. Excellent chips and guac, however. Great service too. They seem to really care about their customers. It’s mostly a to-go shop, but they do have a few tables inside. It’s not special, but it gives you a place to sit and eat.

Wonderful little restaurant steps away from Main Street. Excellent menu selection and super friendly staff! Order first then take a seat. We enjoyed a black bean tostada, chorizo empanda and fried plantains to satisfy our sweet tooth.

This is a nice little place, most of their business is takeout. it’s like a counter restaurant and has three or four little tables. we were not in a hurry so we dined in. I got crunchy shrimp tacos (3) which were very good and my spouse got loaded fries which turned out to be a huge huge portion of food, with cheese beans tomatoes and Carne Asada. It was too much to even finish. total price was about $40 which included imported sodas. The food was very good, chips and salsa were good, and the entrées came with specialty little sauces which were also really good. Definitely recommend this place, the prices are reasonable and the food is quite good!
