We couldn’t decide which tacqueria to visit in this neighborhood so we went to three to compare tacos al pastor. El Asadero had the second best taco, but the meat here was the best quality. Carne asada was better than other places. Service was great. Also nice to have a beer and try a birria taco.

Best asada you will ever eat in your life. You know how occasionally there are those little tough/weird bits in asada? I’ve eaten here SO MUCH and their’s is always melt in your mouth tender. Service is great and the horchata always has cinnamon on top (:

Came to this restaurant after a trip to the beach and it didn’t disappoint. We asked for a burrito mojado with half and half red/green sauce and the owner was very happy to give it a shot even though they normally don’t offer this. The food was very flavorful, the meat was tender and fresh tasting. I will definitely be coming back here.

My husband and I discovered El Asadero via their advertising on Instagram. Wow! Apparently their suadero is highly popular, as they were sold out of it by 3pm. We’ll have to try it in a burrito, along with a few birria tacos next time. Pictured is my torta packed with very tender cabeza, chorizo, and lots of avocado. It was perfect! Packed with flavor, HALF a torta was large & satisfying enough to be a full meal! We can’t wait to try the rest of their menu, as it was worth the 45+minutes drive to get there! Interestingly enough, they also advertised a room to rent for special occasions too. Too cool, with scrumptious food with it. Can’t beat it!! <3

This place has the best carne asada burrito in Ventura! Not only is it huge but the tortilla is lined with melted cheese and the asada is sliced thin and juicy, definitely high quality meat. The owner always has a new salsa he’s playing with – be sure to ask for some!
