I normally go in for their “perfect croissant” which is the best! Today I tried the salami sandwich which turned out to be excellent! My friend was so happy with her turkey sandwich! We will most definitely go back for their beautiful salads we saw being served to another table.

Nice appearance right? Unfortunately it ends there. Pastries were underbaked and the “service” really poor. Had to wait 20 min for our order, which had been forgotten, during medium capacity, at best. Nice interior and location, but not something I would recommend or repeat.

Outstanding surprise in Aiken! Came for a wedding, and did not expect a French bistro… The food is excellent, the bread delicious, and the staff friendly and welcoming. Great wine selection, both by the glass and the bottle. Can’t wait to go back!

Very good service. The food and coffee are top quality. The staff are helpful and they were nice to our terrible two year old. A true little slice of Europe. What more could you ask for?

We were excited to have lunch here after reading the solid reviews. Unfortunately, even though the restaurant was not busy when we ate lunch there, service was incredibly slow and communication was poor. We ordered two cold sandwiches and iced coffee. The iced coffee took ten minutes to get to our table. The sandwiches took 31 minutes. During this time, no one stopped by to explain why two cold sandwiches were taking so long to prepare, nor was an apology offered when our food finally arrived. The food was fine, but the bread wasn’t particularly fresh and we were frustrated with how long it took to get to us, particularly since the owners or managers appeared to be sitting right next to us at a table handling business paperwork (which is its own breach of professionalism). Sadly, we will not be returning as there are better lunch spots with far superior service in Aiken.

You definitely need to go in the morning!! They were almost out of all baked goods when we got there. We went around 1:30 on a Saturday afternoon. The macarons were AMAZING. I preferred the chocolate twist over the chocolate croissant. But the chocolate croissant was still very good. We will be back and to sit down and eat next time.

I have been several times, usually for latte and pastries. The last visit I had the jambon buerre conichon sandwich and it was delicious.i was pleasantly surprised by the side salad that came with the sandwich. All ingredients were fresh and service was very good. Will be returning soon.

Based on the two skimpy $12 sandwiches and sides we picked up the other day, we’ll give La Parisienne a generous three stars. They left off the pesto on both sandwiches and got the sides wrong and judging from the laundry list of items they were out of when we called in our order (e.g. quiche, croques, Swiss cheese, potato salad, and pesto apparently), there might be some sort of supply issue.
