I went to the New England Style Seafood event that they recently held and was happily satisfied! The fried Cod was tender, flaky, and moist with a tasty and crisp breading! The Crab Cake was the same way! The wait staff was very friendly and checked in quite often. Their full bar offered very tasty drinks as well!

Driving to Wichita to catch a plane and we were looking for a small eatery hopefully locally owned. Came across Sugar Shane’s. Cool beach vibe (in Kansas?) with a nice, varied menu. Kacy took good care of us and was very personable. Sea food basket, build your own burger and chili were our selections. All very good, served hot and tasted fresh. Highly recommend heading downtown if you are ever in Augusta and have a meal here. Ask for Kacy

The burger patty was dry on the Southwest, the onion crisps were not crisp but wasn’t too bad as I enjoy sautéed onions but was a bit displeased. The boom boom shrimp was good not too sweet just about right amount of tang too. Friendly staff and cold beer.

Sugar Shane’s has become a favorite place of ours for fun family gatherings. Their outdoor patio has games for both adults and kids to enjoy, plus food and mixed drinks are great! Depending on the size of your party, you may have somewhat of a wait but it’s totally worth it due to the great atmosphere and great staff! Would highly recommend!

Loved my waitress, very nice. But I ordered the 2 porch chops… They were horrible, no flavor very small for the price burnt and dry. My sides were good mash potatoes and brown gravy and corn., One of my kids ordered the spicy chicken sandwich it said buffalo sauce and they didn’t get buffalo they got siracha no where did the menu say siracha fish tacos was more like lettuce tacos with a a couple pieces of fish. Food needs improvement it was not worth what we paid . But like I said our waitress was outstanding. Hopefully our next time we have a better experience with the food.not good at all for our first time.
