Been getting take out here on and off for years, sometimes traveling across the state to get what I previously considered the best fried clams and scallops around. Got clams/scallop combo (as usual), chowder and a Portuguese stuffie. Scallops were burnt- looked and tasted burnt. Aside from the actual bellies, the rest of the clams were completely inedible, harder to chew than a rubber band, and had to spit out every single one; and though they appeared ok, had a burnt taste as well. Stuffy was dry and all breading. Coleslaw still one of the best and white chowder still solid. Pricing still reasonable (but not when the main event sucks). Very disappointing overall. Hoping it’s a special occurrence, but that might’ve been the last time I go out of my way for this place. Bummed.

Place has really good seafood at really good prices. Fish is always really fresh; the fried food is always done really well. Place is so small and everyone and their grandma wants to eat there on the weekends so beware that you could be waiting a while through no fault of the staff who pump out the food as quickly as a team of that size could.

Excellent meal! I was surprised at how delicious and well prepared the food was for such a small restaurant. Really pleasantly surprised. And the prices were reasonable! Staff was excellent. Definitely will return!

New visit was everything i wrote before, everything is Really good and great portions. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The prices were excellent as well. This was my 1st time here, I had bought several gift certificates for friends and family but now I know why they like it so much. If you want a good meal at reasonable prices you will like it as well. Update: Came here again and had another great meal, so far everything I had has been big portions and really good. Definitely recommend.

Service was subpar. Waitress waited on tables that came in after us! Waitress never smiled! Had to ask for water refills twice! Lobster bisque was awesome! Definitely a 5 star if rating on that alone. Seafood pasta was very bland as was the fish and chips. Nothing special. Try a different place if in Providence! I can’t recommend this place with so many other options!
