LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Michelle’s Lair – one of the absolute best restaurants around in SW Pennsylvania. Been here several times. Was there yesterday (2/23/19) for date night with the Husband and only seems to have gotten better! They start you out with “Angry Chips” – clearly homemade tortilla chips with “Angy” seasoning that I would eat every day if I could. Appetizer – had the Love Bites . I could “mainline” the honey lava, it is that good – heat without being overdone. For dinner, I had the P, B & C Burger – Peanut Butter, Bacon and Cheddar Burger. It really should not have been that incredibly good and for the first time in my life, I was not able to finish a burger (HUGE!). Of course, got a side of the honey lava for my tots, because again, “mainline”. Husband had the Bacon Cheeseburger because once he finds something on a menu that good, he will no divert from it. Both burgers were prepared perfectly medium without having to ask. The presentation of the food is something you would expect from an overpriced “snooty” restaurant. The service here . . . Oh my God – ALL restaurants should take note of how to treat a customer – friendly and efficient! Any time we have been here, we have never wanted tor anything – there is always multiple staff checking on you! Our waitress (I did not get her name – younger woman with a blond ponytail) was so incredibly sweet and friendly! What I love most about Michelle’s Lair is it is completely unassuming externally and then you walk in to this beautifully decorated old home with a massive stone fireplace (see pic for the bar area) with food and service that in 2019 is all but impossible to find!. We travel an hour to eat here and would drive longer if we had to. The menu is the perfect amount “mix” with something for anyone, and prices that are less than chain restaurants with mass-produced “ick”. Do yourself a favor, find Michelle’s Lair on Main Street in Latrobe and eat there as soon as possible. Restaurants of this quality, with service this awesome, are extremely rare in this world of “chains” with sub-standard food and service. Next time, I plan on the “Angry” pasta.

Michelle’s Lair is just incredible. The ambiance is rustic and cozy, and the food is arguably some of the best to be had in the greater Latrobe/Greensburg/Ligioner area. Michelle will come check on you herself when she has the time, which just adds to the entire experience. The bar is a great spot to relax after eating. Karaoke was unexpected, but even those courageous enough to sing were above average as far as karaoke goes. If you live around here and haven’t been, you’re truly missing out on something special. Michelle and her employees do great work.

Absolutely love this place!! Always come on Mondays with my girlfriends for the pasta special & half price bottles of wine. The salads are super fresh the Italian dressing is bomb & the gnocchi is made in house so delicious! I swear it melts in your mouth. Highly recommend the vodka sauce! The place is so cute & quiet.. truly one of the best kept secrets of the area. Michelle is always sure to come out & ask how everything is. She’s so personable & sweet I love that! All the girls that work the dining room & bar are amazing! Even once I move out on the area one day & come back to visit, I will be sure to stop by & have some of the BEST ITALIAN FOOD EVER ❤️

We felt like guests in their home. We were welcomed and cared for. I had the jalepeno fish wrap and my wife had the asiago burger. My daughter had the soup and salad. The crepe soup was excellent. We also enjoyed the fried dough bites for dessert. Looking forward to going back and trying the inferno burger.

We sat on the patio with our dog and they were incredibly hospitable! The fried risotto appetizer (I forget the name) is absolutely superb. The staff is great and the inside of the restaurant looks really nice. Definitely will eat here again.

My family and I love this place. The patio is dog friendly and we always take our German Shepherd there. Michelle and the staff bring him water and treats. Food is refreshing and original for the area.
