Stopped by for lunch on Sunday. There was a large crowd due to church getting out but they found me a booth and the food came out quickly. Delicious gumbo and the fried chicken was great. Definitely looking to come back, especially when they have live music Friday evenings. Prices were appropriate.

Prices are good but most of the food is fried and it can get a bit heavy. The place is quite old and not so clean. They didn’t have alligator when we went but they offered to change it to oysters which were too strong in flavor. The attention was good and feels like it’s a family run business or something very local.
