I have been coming back here every couple weeks for the last month or so and each new dish I try seems better than the last. With the exception of the Duck curry, that will most likely never be beaten.

In town for a visit with my parents, we went here for dinner. The host was very nice and we seated promptly. I had Pad Thai with Chicken and it was very good. The flavors were just right and everything was fresh. Also had a thai ice tea which was very good. I would recommend this place if you like Thai food. I would suggest it as more of a lunch and/or to go spot rather than dinner as the atmosphere is casual.

I have eaten here several times and the food and service have always been excellent. The soups, curries and pad thai have been excellent. The butterfly wontons are first rate, and are even better with the amazing dipping sauce that come with them. The only thing that I would call average was the chicken satay appetizer, and that is mostly because it is just too big, with way too much meat and not enough peanut sauce.

My husband and I love this restaurant! We usually always get the Pad Thai and it’s amazing, no one else compares and we’ve tried it at many other places. We’ve recommended it to several other people and all say they loved it as well. Very clean and nice restaurant as well.

Been eating here for a couple years and they are amazing, just make sure you get the right Baan Khun Ya, they opened another one in Richland, and that one isn’t bad or anything, I just prefer this one. Very warm place and happy people. If there is a one star anywhere for these people, then it’s a fluke. Order yourself anything from their menu, and you’ll be happy. I asked for chicken pad thai one time and got something totally different, i ate it anyway (because i’m a boss and not a whiner) and that too was great. seriously.

My wife and I have been coming to Baan Khun Ya in Pasco since they opened. We have always had a great experience there and nothing to complain about. However after a six month break things really seemed to have changed, unfortunately for the worse. My pineapple curry had very little chicken in the dish which was different from how it used to be. My main complaint is that I ordered a drink off the cocktail menu, a Makers 46 Manhattan. The drink was very pale and watered down, clearly not correct. Our seat was directly under some very bright incandescent lights which were physically warm, sort of like sitting under a hear lamp.

My friend and I ate dinner here during a three-day hunting trip in the area, and after eating a lot of heavy diner-style breakfasts, Baan Khun Ya was truly a treat – very refreshing. I had fresh rolls, larb and a Manhattan, and my friend had a soup that looked beautiful. My only two quibbles are minor: I wish my Manhattan had come with a cherry, and the larb could’ve been a little spicier (I asked for medium heat, but it’s probably not a bad thing that they erred on the side of not blowing out my taste buds). I hope to return to the area next year for another hunt, and if I do, I will definitely be eating at this restaurant again.

I guess this might be the best it gets for Thai food in Pasco. Unfortunately that’s not saying much. Thai has been done so much better so many other places. I tried this place twice, found it rather bland and inconsistent. I’d suggest trying other Thai restaurants in the TC for better food.

For the taste experience, the price is quite reasonable. I very much appreciate the wide variety of menu options. The atmosphere is fairly quiet. You can actually hold a conversation here without shouting.
