Was my mainstay 30 years ago when I lived in Waban. I recommended it to a friend who lives 15 minutes away for early 6 am breakfast. Most places today open after 7am. He was truly impressed by the service and the cleanliness of the deli… glad to see 30 years later Barry’s Deli is still going strong! Good job!

The meat is very clearly microwaved for any hot sandwich, they even do it right in front of you half the time. Its dry on the edges and cold in the middle.

Only went into to do massive (3 pounds) of potato salad. My cousin claims it’s the best, so I brought to him upon his request. Quick service. Glad to see a small line as thats good for the merchant. Very good take service.

I love a place that makes me feel like I’m at home, and that’s exactly how I felt here. Our waitress was friendly, caring, and happy to give recommendations. She was pleasant despite us coming in at the end of lunchtime. We split the Rachael (it was large) and it was delicious! I will be returning!

One of my coworkers brought me to this place. I’ve been working in Newton for years now and only just found it. The food is absolutely fantastic, and you get a whole lot of it for what you pay for. Staff were very nice and welcoming. They whipped up my take out order quickly even with numerous other customers. I can’t recommend these folks enough
