This place is wonderfully unique and tasty! I took my 2 daughters on a dinner date and we had so much fun! The server was attentive, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was relaxed and cozy! Taking my husband next for date-nite! Thanks Sa Bai Modern Thai! We will see you again soon!

A great place to dine on a hot Phoenix afternoon. Fresh spring rolls with nice crisp vegetables were definitely fresh and tasty. The accompanying peanut sauce was really flavorful. Opted for the chicken mint salad for the main course which was super good! The large Thai iced tea was so refreshing. Not to mention that the temperature inside the restaurant was cool and comfortable. Friendly service topped off a delicious lunch!

Heavenly Classic Curry…like a spice jungle. Made on a wok in a small humble kitchen.

We ordered take out. The broccoli beef is flavorless and can be avoided. The pad Thai, edamame, garlic shrimp and vegetable delight with salmon were all wonderful. Pricing is a little high but overall a good spot.

Really interesting take on modern Thai food. Thai food is my absolute favorite food and so I like trying out new restaurants especially when I travel, for this take out I got the crispy fried rolls as an appetizer & their spicy rice noodles which is essentially almost like a pad see ew (not drunken noodles). The appetizer was really good and the noodles were very good but they were unlike any noodle dish I’ve ever had a Thai restaurant. The noodles had the consistency of like the egg noodles he would use for a chicken noodle soup and the gravy was very flavorful and different.

I’ve only been here once but I really liked this place, it’s a solid option for Thai. I had the pad Thai which I can recommend, the medium spice was definitely on the hotter side. The Thai tea is fantastic, some of the best in town in my opinion. The ambiance is surprisingly cozy, perhaps owing to the odd curved windows from it’s former life as a Wendy’s. The tables were very clean, as were the bathrooms (please help keep them that way

I ate here with a friend yesterday and everything was absolutely delicious. We had the spicy noodles with veggies and chicken, the lettuce wraps, pumpkin curry w/ steamed rice, shrimp pad thai and the sweet rice with mango for dessert. I was very satisfied with the seasoning and flavor of all the dishes down to the peanut sauce that came with our lettuce wraps. Our waitress was kind and attentive and also made us feel very welcomed. I will 100% be back!

This restaurant is so calming. The food is great. The lettuce wraps are my favorite. We spent quite a bit of money here just for two of us, but I’d still do it again. I’m loving this place. Which is something cause I don’t like a lot of places.

I ordered the “drunken noodles” they were ok. Compared to the Thai restaurants I’ve ate it wasn’t that great. I also ordered the lo meón and it was sooo bland. It was bad. Then the beef and broccoli was ordered, some part were hot others weren’t. Service was good. However, the waitress wore shorts that showed her butt. The shorts were mid cheek. I was disappointed.
