This is a wonderful find while on vacation. The people are amazing. The place is cute, quaint and clean. Better yet, the food is the best I’ve ever had. Must mention that this is the first Mexican restaurant that I’ve ever been able to order a burrito and a taco together with beans and rice on a plate.

This family run restaurant is the best authentic Mexican food I’ve had since living in San Diego. The beef fajitas, guacamole, beef tacos, and chili verde were out of this world!!! The food was absolutely delicious and is a must stop when in Groveland or passing through.

Decent Mexican spot near Yosemite. Made for a good meal after a long day hike. Chips and salsa that comes at the start was yummy and salsa was hot!!

I stopped in at 3pm on a Saturday and it wasn’t too busy. By the time I got my food the other three groups had left and I had the place to myself. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and the food was served quick and hot. Complimentary chips and salsa (the salsa was flavorful with a little heat) bottled coke and I ordered the tofu a la Mexican and an a la carte crispy potato taco too (requested no cheese on either item to make it vegan). The only thing I’ll do differently next time is request some guacamole on my taco or on the side.

This place was SO good. Chips and salsa with a good amount of spice, beer options, and a large menu with lots of options. The staff were very amazing as well.

Great food and even greater people. I was dining solo and they gave me a table for 4, which was all they had on a very busy night. How thoughtful. But I let them know it was fine with me for them to seat other folks at ‘my’ table because they had a waiting list. They did and the group that joined me was fun and interesting and frankly, made my day. I will return to this Michoacán kitchen. It’s a one of a kind.
