The service and atmosphere were really good. Super clean and neat. The service was top notch but never felt like a diner as the name would suggest. It is more of an upscale place with average food and shorter menu items. I ordered fried chicken sandwich and fries and my friend ordered fish and chips. Both of us felt the food was average. Only recommend it if you were looking for a casual place to dine once in a while for a chance of scenery.

We went for brunch and were seated quickly. This establishment pprovides dining at an upscale location. Our waitress delivered good service, but nothing to write home about. Our meal arrived swiftly, albeit it was not as hot as the plates it was delivered on. The meal was delicious nonetheless. The wait for Mimosas was longer than expected. I would definitely dine here again. Please keep in mind that a party of six is considered a large party, and a gratuity was included.

This place is always less crowded then the one in central west end, even during Sunday lunch time. However, the environment, quality of food and service were all as good. I’ve been to this place several times and have tried the omelets, fish tacos, sandwiches, etc. Most importantly, the price is very reasonable giving its quality and portion. The coffee is also great. Better than many brunch restaurants that I’ve been to.

Good mood, good food. Great experience across the board at Kingside Diner in St. Louis. Nice restaurant with open seating and a spacious bar area. Flat screens TVs are visible from almost every area throughout the restaurant. The music selection was pretty good. Fast and friendly service. Our server Tyler did a great job. Everything was delicious. The drinks were good as well. Definitely dropping by again to try something new on the menu next trip to the Lou.

We only had time for one breakfast in St. Louis and we were really pleased with this choice. The breakfast burrito was delicious and the hashbrowns were super crispy. Great meal and service!

Another Boozy Breakfast! The food was really good. I don’t know why I never thought to put gravy on a croissant before. It was scrumptious! The bloody maria was spicy and the staff were friendly. It just felt a little too high brow for me strolling in at 8am in my scrubs. That might just be Clayton in general. I felt underdressed and out of place.

Had a fantastic lunch at Kingside Diner. Ordered the Chicken Sandwich which is juicy and not too crunchy, had a delicious special type of mayo on there, and coleslaw on the sandwich. There are two types of fries that I’m a big fan of in this world: crinkle cut and whatever you call the type of fries at Kingside. You can look at my picture for a reference but I just love the crispy texture of them. Also, Alayna was my waitress and she was very attentive and personable and I can only hope that on my next visit I can have her be my waitress again.

Whelp, I wanted to love this place however I was disturbed by the uncleanliness of the restaurant. My husband and I went to have some breakfast and I found that my coffee cup was extremely dirty and our water glasses had lip stick stains. When I reported it the waitress said “they are all like that because of consistent coffee pours” however when I peeked at my neighbors their cups were clean as a whistle. Will not be returning.

Kingside in Clayton was very good breakfast choice. We were having breakfast early before the wedding day of my son 11/5/22 began with pictures, wedding cake delivery to the hotel LeMeridian down the street.. An excellent breakfast venue and popular too. I gave it a 4 only because it took 10 minutes before any one came by to ask us if we wanted coffee before ordering. We had a busy day ahead of us.
