There was late night pizza available to order to the dorms in ‘88 better than this pizza. You’re better off grabbing a cardboard box from the recycling bin, and sprinkling “cheese” on it, mixed with grass clippings, and a couple Palmetto bugs for flavoring. For the record, no Palmettos, but I’m not sure that was pepperoni, or beef.

Pizza’s are good. Not the best, but pretty decent. Food is ready within 15-20 minutes. Location isn’t the best, wish there were more locations to choose to pick up from. Coupons are available out there.

I CALLED AN ORDER INTO MARCO’S SARASOTA, ON BEVEVA & WEBBER, AND SPOKE TO PAUL. UPON ARRIAL, I WAS TOLD I HAD TO WAIT AS THE EMPLOYEE (WHO WAS THERE BY HIMSELF AND COMPLAINING) SAID THAT MY ORDER WAS BEING MADE. SUDDENLY, TWO MORE PEOPLE SHOW UP, ANOTHER EMPLOYEE AND THE OWNER’S WIFE. THINGS SEEMED TO BE MOVING ALONG. THE SECOND EMPLOYEE ASKED MY NAME SINCE I’D BEEN WAITING AND NOTHING MORE WAS SAID. AFTER WAITING APPROXIMATELY AN HOUR, I WAS AGAIN ASKED MY NAME BY THE SECOND EMPLOYEE, WHO PROCEEDED TO TELL ME THERE WAS NO ORDER FOR ME. THE FIRST EMPLOYEE WAS JUST THEN DECIDING TO MAKE IT. I ASKED HIM IF HE WAS MAKING MY PIZZA NOW. HE WOULD NOT ANSWER AND REFUSED TO LOOK AT ME. I WAS ANNOYED AND STARTED YELLING, STATING I HAD BEEN WAITING AND THIS WAS ACKNOWLEDGED TO NO AVAIL. I ASKED THE LADY (AKA THE OWNER’S WIFE ) WHO JUST LOOKED AT ME LIKE A DEER IN THE HEADLIGHTS WITH NO ANSWER. I STATED THEY SCREWED UP MY LAST ORDER AND I HAD TO COME BACK TO FIX IT. NOW THEY DIDN’T EVEN MAKE IT. I WILL NEVER BE BACK TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, EMPLOYEE COMPLAINING IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS, NO MANAGEMENT CONTROL OR ANY ACT OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. THIS ALL COULD HAVE BEEN RECTIFIED HAD THE OWNER TAKEN RESPONSIBILITY, APOLOGIZEDFOR THE SITUATION, AND SAID THEY’D MAKE THE PIZZA AT NO COST SINCE IT WAS THEIR ERROR. Coming from Chicago I am accustomed to Chicago pizza which differs from Marco’s quite a bit. I was pleasantly surprised with their product and that Marco’s pepperoni is better than Chicago’s. I don’t like pepperoni from Chicago; I am a cheese and sausage guy.

Now that’s how a pizza should be done!! Big thick slices of mushrooms, not slivers like these other places (acting like it’s truffle or something! LOL) Very good pizza. The one missing star is that they charged me a donation of $1.00 without asking me! Felt that was wrong!
