We walked into the restaurant during a lunch rush. It was busy. There was nothing but calmness. You can tell that the teamwork was phenomenal. Our server, Amanda, was one of the best we have ever had. The food was hot and excellent. We love extras on everything, and nothing was forgotten. Thank you for such a wonderful family meal. It is the best we have had in a very long time.

After a long day of travel we arrived in Spearfish. Before checking in to our hotel for the night we wanted a good non-fast food meal. We decided on Applebees, as my husband and I were craving steak. We were greeted and sat quickly. Our server checked with us promptly for our drink and food order, then it all went south.

Absolutely one of the best Applebee’s locations ever. I have extreme Dairy allergy and our server Noah was so respectful! He even read the ingredients on the condiment bottle for me. Highly recommend this location and hope to see Noah again when we return!

Food was marginal, but service was not good. The host and our waitress did not seem very thrilled to be working. They were having a benefit but never brought the menu to our table that showed which items were part of the benefit. The host was no-verbal and appeared upset when we asked to be seated at a booth instead of bar stools. Our server just did not have the skill set to be a good server. Would suggest to go to another restaurant if possible.

Let me start by saying, I am a vegetarian. And your menu is awful for vegetarian!!! You have about five options and that is including appetizers. All your salads have chicken and when you say NO chicken they don’t have a problem taking it off but they charge the same price as with chicken, and you pasta dishes have chicken or bacon. Thank you for having the “impossible” burger that helped. But I really think you you to reconsider your menu to accommodate vegetarian.
