Came here for lunch I got the boudin ball they were fried to perfection. Then I had the seafood gumbo it was a little thick but still good. You have to try the Gateau De Sirop ( Cajun syrup cake) you will thank me later. The staff is very friendly. I will return

We’d ordered to go before so we knew the food at Parish was delicious. We were sat quickly by one other table for two and the rest of our sections was empty. After ten minutes of listening to two young ladies clear a table and check on the table next to us multiple times, my husband finally gave up and went to the bar to see if we had a server. Lucky for us, the bartender, Jessica, was apologetic and awesome! She became our waiter and recommended excellent choices on the menu. She was super attentive and we will definitely be back. I suggest you hire more employees like Jessica or train the young ladies to at least check on patrons sitting in the restaurant. I would understand if the place was full but here were only 4 other tables of diners last night.

The hush puppies were great. Had the crab cakes as an appetizer and they were good. Had the crawfish Etouffee and enjoyed it, it was just the right amount of spice. Definitely recommend the Cajun syrup cake. Even better was the service, our glasses were never empty and the food came out in the right amount of time.

First of all, I want to say that the service, atmosphere, and cleanliness is excellent. I was really impressed with my waitress (young blonde girl) who was very attentive and mindful.

My family and I stopped in to try this new local cajun/creole restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. The shrimp etouffee was delicious. We also enjoyed the shrimp and grits, but save room for the yummy bread pudding.. We loved the food and the friendly service and will definitely be back.

Food’s good, service is better. The fettuccine with blackened chicken was delicious, and our server Mickey seemed like a great kid. The syrup cake was dense with a good crumb – the head chef is also evidently a superb baker.

Awesome, fresh cajun home cooking! Had the shrimp and grits, and it was so yummy! Hubby had the seafood platter with oysters, shrimp and catfish. So light and flavorful, and the dirty rice is top notch! Come and check it out yourself. Btw…full bar and the hurricanes are superb!

It’s great to have a solid Cajun restaurant right here in Pecan Grove. Fits in well with the other great choices around here. Close to home with a nice vibe and solid food. They are in their soft opening and fine tuning each day before their grand opening this fall. Nice patio on a sunny day (and getting better every time we have been). Many things have come and gone in this location – any many have been unfocused and just – meh….

I leave a one-star rating because that’s the least I can give. These were the worst crawfish I’ve ever had. They apparently cook a large batch and serve from the batch until it’s gone. Ours had to have been at least 1 hour old by the time we got them. And everything was cold. The service was mediocre at best. First and last time to visit this restaurant.
