This was where we went in college to have all-you-can-eat spaghetti. It is so awesome and nostalgic to return here and have terrific food. It is a “dive bar” amongst dive bars. Thoroughly enjoyable and Monday is all-day Happy Hour!

It’s been a while. New management and updated menus. Happy I was still able to get my favorites… jumbo wings and I’m talking JUMBO! And our customized pizza of cheese, pineapple and jalapeño with white sauce! The bartenders are so wonderful and accommodating! Our friend’s Tami and Mike are regulars here so it’s just a fun party!

Yes, it’s an old-time pizza parlor/bar.

My wife called to place an order. We called back a few minutes later to change the pizza to wings instead. The girl on the phone said, “well it’s already being made so that’s what you’re getting” then hung up on us. Never ordering from them again until they can get some staff that understands customer service.

So I went to Spuds with a couple of friends for the first time having never heard of the place. I was greeted by the black and orange livery on the sign that was giving me 70’s vibes, and that vibe continued on the inside which honestly, I liked. The paneling around and the centralized bar top. The beer was cold as it should be. This is a good bar. However, calling the pizza world famous should be re worded. As a pizza connoisseur, I thoroughly enjoy pizza. However, Spuds “Famous Thin Crust” I did not enjoy. The pizza came out in a heart shape, I didn’t know if this was intentional Or not. The undercarriage of the crust was cooked unevenly. 1 side was on the lighter side, the other side was burnt worse than the Vietnam jungles in ‘68. The crust was tasteless, the sauce was runny, but the worst part was the copious amounts of grease that were dripping off. It was more soaked than Seattle on a winter day. The pizza really killed this for me. Very sad to be writing this review.

This was a staple for our family growing up here in the early 80s. Haven’t been back for a couple of decades but was ECSTATIC to see the same comfortable and welcoming atmosphere I remembered from my childhood. The pizza was even better than it was back in the day and our waitress was super new but very friendly and helpful. Very happy to know this place is still doing it’s thing!

I’ve visited a couple times and my first few visits were great when it was a small amount. I had like it so much that I placed a large order (like$300) for a party to be ready at a specific time and when we went to pick it up, it was not even warm. We had to put it in our oven at home to reheat it and it was not good. People hardly ate it and we ended up tossing it out. Pictures/video from a previous occasion, small personal order and why I liked it so much.

We have been coming here for over 40 years for family celebrations. The pizza and salads have stayed consistently delicious throughout that time. However, we had the best service on Sunday that we have ever received. Our server Felicia was outstanding! She was so attentive and cheerful to our party of 12…and anticipated our every need. Really one of the best servers we’ve ever had ANYWHERE! I don’t do reviews very often but felt like her extraordinary service merited a review. We were all raving about Felicia’s service throughout dinner.
