A great spot for a casual breakfast with wallet-friendly prices. Our server was friendly, kind and attentive. Definitely would recommend this for a reasonably priced meal in the middle of the city.

I’m sorry. The people here are really nice. So nice it’s hard to leave a bad review, but you must be warned. The food is terrible. Now, we were disappointed because we were hoping for breakfast but we were too late so we ordered lunch. Maybe breakfast is better. My burger was undercooked (moooo!) and on an ordinary bun I can buy at the grocery store. The onion rings tasted like they were deep fried in the same oil they fry fish in. My wife’s Philly cheese steak seemed bought from Costco and microwaved: just meat and cheese, no onions, peppers, sauce, or flavor. But it’s a good story to tell how we went to Providence and had one of our worst meals ever. Sorry again. They are very nice people.

Never have I walked into an establishment to be greeted with such hospitality! Absolutely every worker and a few patrons said hello–great vibe!

Support a local small business and go to Tommy’s Place instead of another chain restaurant. There’s no other place like Tommy’s Place in Providence! Nothing compares to the personal service you get from Tommy himself and his home cooked meals. Delicious breakfast on the grill not microwaved like many places. Some of my lunch favorites are American Chop Suey, Pulled Pork, Burgers, Chicken Cutlet and Fried Shrimp. There is a wide variety on the menu with something for everyone. Very reasonable prices too! There’s a reason many of his regulars like myself self have continued to go there for over 25 years.

This place was terrible. It was freezing inside the food was blah not worth going there. The cook was a very nice guy and our waitress was nice but other than that I wouldn’t go again

Stopped in while visiting Providence and had a lovely breakfast! Everyone there was incredibly warm and welcoming. I ordered a mushroom and cheese omelette which was delicious, and my son loved his blueberry pancakes. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town 🙂

The wait staff is efficient and friendly without being overbearing. The food was classic diner fare. Excellent place for breakfast- much better than the complimentary breakfast at my hotel.

This was such a good just classic neighborhood place. We had burgers & a chicken wrap. There were only a few customers dining in. Tommy was actually still there and told us that since the pandemic he has stayed open but had lost mango employees and was now working in the kitchen himself. It was a great lunch and I would definitely go back!
