Don’t be fooled by the 3.8 stars and bad “late night” reviews. My husband and I went for pre dinner drinks and appetizers. The restaurant is clean and beautiful, with friendly wait staff and hostesses. The food (calamari and hummus, no picture because we ate it all) was delicious. Service by bartenders was friendly and prompt, encouraging us to come back for future drinks and dinners.

Erin, Dickey, Chef Tim and everyone was fantastic! The level of food and service was equal to the great conversation from the staff. Not to be downplayed by the fantastic display of classic architecture from the local artisans of a century past. We enjoyed the experience, and look forward to coming back!

We had breakfast in while staying at STL hotel. We ordered kids oatmeal and Louie Breakfast. The food was nicely cooked, portions are more than plentiful. The service was great. I wish they had a coffee machine though for espresso, otherwise great experience.

Everything about this restaurant is LOVELY. It is a relaxing, upscale environment in the beautiful Hotel Saint Louis. Jasen was pleasant and attentive with a warm smile. I come for the French Onion Soup and it did not disappoint!

We were one of two tables in the entire restaurant. Took five minutes to get sat even though i made eye contact with the bartender no less than five times. Took almost 10 minutes for the server to come over once we’d sat down. Took another 10+ to get drinks. Server told me my margarita would be over whenever the bartender could get to it. She had three people at the bar and the drink came from a keg. It was over 30 minutes before our food (two kids meals and a salad) came out. Whole experience took almost an hour and a half. Food was ok but not at all worth the terrible service.

TLDR; get cocktails. The “Chilean Seabass” is probably cod.

I loved eating here! It was such a fun experience. My server was so sweet and the duck confit flatbread and it was so good with the goat cheese. I

Our order was taken pretty quickly after we arrived, but then after about 30 minutes we had to ask for our drinks. Then, it took a ridiculous amount of time to get our food and our server was very infrequent in checking on us for drink refills once we did get our food. The restaurant was not busy at all, so there’s no reason for the long waits. Also, the food is just okay and very expensive for what you get. I’m not a really picky eater at all, but everything was just blah to me.

Food was good. Drinks were great. Service was slow. I would definitely go back again. They have one vegan option in the dinner menu. But it works for groups with different eating habits.

food was fantastic (Mothers Day Brunch) all around, service was a tiny bit spotty but hardworking and friendly, Anbience delightful, and as an added surprise-live guitar music.
