Went inside for lunch. The lady working the cash register was one of the nicest employees I have encountered at one of these “fast food” chains. Food was same as any other McDonalds but leaving good review for good customer service. Nice!

Yes, it is in the gas station but it has a drive-through and it’s divided it’s very clean. The people who work here go out of their way to make everything good. The service is outstanding. Definitely worth the drive past the location in Fox Lake come here.

It took 5 minutes to place an order because the help was clueless! We ordered a burger with only mustard & pickles, she asked “Do you want meat on that?” Ordered a chicken sandwich with ranch dressing it was served with tartar sauce. Place is understaffed & staff lacks training. Drive a few miles up the road and save the aggravation

It was an overall meh experience. The front kiosk guy was nice. The boh was kinda snotty. The food was overly salty and served to you scalding. The place was clean. Just not memorable. Wish I went somewhere else in the end.

Walked in tired after working all day just to see a sign saying that I must use a kiosk to order even though employees were walking right behind the overly large plexiglass wall where the signs were posted. Not sure what’s going on but it’s a bad move and they’ve lost my business. Another person was standing there rolling theirs eyes in disapproval too. Incredibly unwelcoming and seemingly more and more typical in Illinois locations.

Staff doesn’t care hours are wrong says 24/7 but closes at 11 pm but often closes earlier at Staffs whim. Don’t waste your gas.
