Red Stix beautifully captures the sight, smell and taste of Asian street food; it’s a culmination of Chef Uno’s childhood memories and travels. Each hand-crafted bowl or sandwich is finished with a yakitori stick.
The sticks are threaded with morsels of chicken, pork, or steak and grilled over binchotan charcoal. We grab a handfull of sticks, submerge them in an umami rich, silky marinade, and then put them straight onto the grill. Our grillmasters vigorously fan them until the coals hiss, flames spark, smoke puffs and the meat quickly cooks to a juicy, charred perfection. The sticks are nestled on top of rice/noodle/salad bowl or sandwich that our guests have curated with layers of fresh vegetables, pickled daikons, and herbs.
Counter-service eatery featuring flavorful Asian noodle & rice dishes, plus appetizers & cocktails. Based on 210 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 4.5 stars. Price $$

Great food made fresh to order, excellent quick service and casual friendly atmosphere matches the description of this restaurant as a street food place. They serve food in to go bowls. Their portions are pretty big, we couldn’t finish anything that we ordered and ended up with a bag to go! They also have a bar and nice happy hour specials. Our server was very attentive, accommodating, and quick to react to all our requests. He even brought a water bowl for our dogs before us asking for it!

Great place for fresh, delicious meal. Not fancy, but well worth the trip. Loved everything. Service was exceptional. The guy brought out water for our dogs without us asking.

Ordered Chicken Glass Noodle salad and fried tofu. Salad had way too much fish sauce, and ground chicken was dry dry dry. It was a glob of glass noodles, nothing was incorporated into the noodles. All flavors were sitting on top or on the bottom of the glob in the bowl. Want to give this place another chance because of the service and atmosphere. Just don’t get the chicken glass noodle salad. Fried tofu was good but needed a little more hoisin.

During my first visit here w/ Z hubby, I didn’t expect n e thing. But I was pleasantly surprised with the variety of food and flavorz. Definitely loved the pork bao bun here. It’s now my favorite item to order here. The adult capri sun definitely gave me a lil buzz. My Tonkatsu Ramen was good, and the variety skewers were too jus wish they weren’t so dry n flavor w/ out the dipn saucez. Other than that, the fried banana egg rollz should swap out the chocolate topping for salted caramel n mayb toss n some nutz as an option. Overall, I would definitely give this place a try for urself.

The food was great, but the front desk lady, Uno, was so sweet! She was so helpful and made super yummy suggestions to add to my meal! Great food and service!

I will definitely be back! Good food and drinks. Didn’t take long with my order. The restaurant is clean and tidy. I had a great first experience and do recommend especially if you like ramen or anything close to it. I did go on a non busy day/time. I went on a Thursday afternoon around 2:30p. No wait.

I give this business SIX out of five stars. This Laotian-owned, pan-Asian joint is fantastic. Staff, food, ambience, everything. Their wok stir-fries and skewers are the main attraction. I got the Chinese BBQ pork and teriyaki shrimp skewers, cooked on a grill with binchotan charcoal. You can taste the difference. The bao and rangoons were tasty as well.

This is one of my new favorite spots. It’s never too crowded but always steady busy. Food is really good. Definitely try the cherry limeade adult juice pouch. I like the feel of the environment. I even go in to get some work done on my laptop. They’re always very welcoming and sometimes it’s a younger person that has just started but they are great. Uno is the manager and she’s really cool. Check it out. Whiskey Wednesdays that’s all I’mma say now.

My new favorite lunch spot! Across from SMU on Hillcrest, this little gem offers a new change with fresh, fresh, FRESH Asian fusion dishes. I had Sesame Chicken – they took an old standard and jazzed it up. A healthy choice I would say – chicken is NOT breaded and deep fried but somehow had a *crunch*. Served with jasmine rice, spring onions and red & green bell peppers, it was DELICIOUS!! Generous portion as well. Prompt service from friendly staff. Win-Win!
