Homecooked food at homegrown prices. A true roadside gem. I would recommend this to anyone who finds themselves on the road and in need of a break.

Today I found out that eggs actually have flavor… The quality of food is very good for a small country place and the prices are low. Also, nice people and good service. Just not sure if they have a restroom, frankly. Didn’t see one. Otherwise, perfect!

Went in around 11 ordered breakfast got it about 11:40. Ordered scrambled eggs with my breakfast and not sure what they were thinking cooking my eggs in the microwave and then cutting them up but they were rubbery and nasty, so I did not eat them. The waitress was nice but she was doing to much other stuff to take care of her customers, which caused service to be slow. When I first started going there several years ago the food was good and the service decent. But over the years the food and service has went down hill.

This is a family owned and operated business and my family was pleasantly surprised how tasty the milk shakes, ice cream and sundaes were!!! We didn’t eat any of the food, so we can’t comment on the other menu items. The place seemed clean and welcoming. One of the owners waited our table. She was very friendly and took great care to see that everything was to our satisfaction. If we had to list a negative comment, it would be that the family had smaller children playing in the dinning area quite loudly. Besides that I was glad we found this place. We’ll be back again one day.

This was our first visit to the Dairy Barn and it was much better than I expected it to be. The gravel parking lot offers a bit of a puzzle as to where you’ll park, but once inside, the atmosphere is amazing. Our waitress met us with a smile, VERY friendly and helpful, and never made us wait. LOTS on the menu to choose from, including burgers, sandwiches, platters, and plenty of side as well as sweets and ice cream. My husband and I ordered the Philly Cheesecake platter and we were amazed by the portion sizes, not at all skimpy. I have to say, our sandwiches had the SOFTEST bread I have ever had on a sandwich. Our daughter ordered the Big Breakfast and I’ve also never seen pancakes this soft either. Overall, it was an excellent trip with excellent service, excellent food, and at a price that much very reasonable. We will definitely return.

We ate here on a Sunday after visiting a church in the area. We had to go through the drive-thru due to the silly restrictions on restaurants at the present moment. The food was tasty overall as it was standard American fare, we got bacon cheese fries and shakes. However it took quite a long time 2

Its good home made southern food. The 4 stars is only because it was a high price for what food we got. But considering it is a small town and that is one of like 3 total restaurants it wasn’t too bad. If you’re near stop in and try it.

They have home cooked meals. They have a great breakfast menu. They are expensive but they have good portions of food. They have a good line of desserts and most are very good. Have different choices on the steam table menu everyday. Its quiet and a small cozy atmosphere. Most employees are friendly and very helpful.

Just a great down home country cooking restaurant. Everything we ordered was delicious (catfish, slaw, hushpuppies, meatloaf, mash potatoes, and mac and cheese) and the shakes were great too. Service was friendly and would definitely reccomend to anyone passing through
