Established in 1995 on Tower Rd, Maui Teriyaki has been “home of the famous chicken bowl”.
Over the years, we’ve opened up locations near UF, near Shands, on 34th St, and in the cities of Alachua and Ocala.
In 2014, we moved our operations to Newberry Square, then moved again to SW 16th Avenue near Shands in 2020. In late 2021, we have moved back to Tower Rd.
We offer the Original MAUI Teriyaki.

The food is EXCELLENT!! Teriyaki chicken was fresh, and good size portion for the cost. The sushi was fresh, and tasted amazing!! Also I got 2 rolls for under $12 that I usually get at Bento and are $12 EACH!! I’m obsessed with this place! The customer service was also great and my food was packed very well with all the condiments I requested!!

There is only one truly fantastic bowl in Gainesville to be enjoyed with sauce, veggies, and your protein of choice (I recommend the crispy pork). I’ve been eating here off and on for nearly 22 years, and highly recommend Maui Teriyaki. It’s also my wife’s favorite quick bite in all of G’ville

I’ve had a large sampling of this menu from this place catering an event that I attend regularly. Some people just know how to make normal things taste amazing. Chicken skewers are simple and perfect. The Maui burger is my favorite burger of all time. So simple yet perfect texture and proportions make it just amazing. All of Nikita’s soups are ridiculous.
