The Roost values itself on our handmade approach to food. We hand cut our own chicken, we patty our own burgers, and our homemade sauces are made with local ingredients. Our chicken is fresh, never frozen, and our beef is from a local butcher. We believe this approach creates the best finished product, although it may take a little more time, it helps us fulfill our motto of, Making People Happy.

Nice change of pace from other food spots in the area. I had the Blackened Chicken Alfredo. Loads of cheese but a little runnier than I like but the flavor was good. The full portion is large—bring your appetite. Others in our party had Fish-n-Chips and Pizza. The pizza tasted great!

Tried the Buffalo chicken sandwich with onion rings during a lunch break. Chicken was cooked to perfection and same for the onion rings. Great atmosphere and food was brought out fairly quick. Our server was efficient with our orders, but not overly friendly. There were 3 other employees at the bar when we walked in and this was before the noon rush. None of them greeted us. I’m ok with that but pointing out as something to improve on.

No wait on Sunday around 12:30pm. Service was quick and friendly. Had Patty Melt and the Black and Blue. Both were cooked excellently. Fries were hot and crispy. Zero complaints, all was very good and will return.

Ordered a Ruben… Burnt on one side not even cooked on the other. The fries were good. The beer was cold… But I won’t be back because if you can’t keep a Ruben from burning with only a handful of tables.. God forbid I bring a date on a busy night…

Food was really good! Good sized portions, and very flavorful. We came in around 4:30, and it wasn’t real busy at all. The Only downside was our waitress. She was so busy talking to her friends, other wait staff had to bring us our orders, drink refills, napkins etc. Overall, it was a good place to eat, but wait staff should pay more attention to their customers, rather than their friends.

Ordered on Grubhub. Order was picked up by someone named Tim, but showed on Grubhub order was an an hour away. Called to see if order was picked up. Restaurant verified it had been picked up by a woman. Watch out for Tim the Grubhub delivery driver Reordered through restaurant. Everyone was super nice and apologetic even though it wasn’t their fault. Food was great as always. Will go in or order carry out from now on & leave tip for the workers instead! Definitely will be going back! Very friendly staff!
