This was our first time here. We went to the drive through for an order for a group of 10. Staff was friendly and very quick, and the order was 100% correct. They even included 5% senior discount. The chicken was great and everyone said the sides, including hush puppies, were terrific. We will definitely be back.

Nothing is smoked on the premises. That should tell you something. Even the banana pudding was not homemade. I can get these items at Walmart and taste just as good, but cheaper.

Generally speaking, Smithfield’s exceeds expectations at all of it’s locations compared to the typical chicken and BBQ establishments. This review is to call attention to the Morehead City location and the flawless execution of providing a meal for 180pp over the July 4th holiday. Even though my chicken wasn’t piping hot delivered in the drive through, it was still banging. Would rate 5 stars had it been freshly cooked. Baked beans had shredded chicken… Wow.. good to go. Service was friendly. Try em out!

I love Smithfield’s BBQ. I stop off at as many as I can when visiting eastern NC. Shoe string fries are always crispy and delicious. The Brunswick stew is good when it’s chilly out or 90 and humid!

so today is Monday, July 31 I went there and got me a two piece white chicken with barbecue and coleslaw. The barbecue was the size of a silver dollar people go there for the barbecue and they don’t give you nothing at all. I asked the girls that all I get for $15 she’s. i don’t make the plates i’m local but will never go there again
