These are the best hot dogs around, period. During COVID I tried almost every hot dog spot between Georgetown & Surfside. They are excellent – the chili is phenomenal that is hand made. The potato roll is awesome. The dogs themselves are all beef and are excellent. I now go there somewhat regularly & my regret is that I haven’t tried some of their other items. Go here.

Owner was a really nice guy but the dogs are basically dirty water dogs and expensive 2 chili dogs cost 11 bucks . I got a nice reply from the owner . As stated a really nice guy . The going rate for 2 dogs a bag of chips and a drink is 7 bucks so I don’t really know what to say as he deemed inflation as for the excessive cost of his dogs .

Stopped by for lunch today. Let me tell you, I set a pretty high bar when it comes to hot dogs and Chester’s is a must. Great dogs and the chili cheese fries were awesome, that chili is seasoned perfectly! Can’t wait to make another pit stop.

Great chili dogs! We had a cheese chili dog and a chili dog with mustard and onions – both were fantastic! Chester’s chili is very good all by itself. Prices are good and fair for the quality and flavor. Here’s a suggestion…go next store to the fantastic $5 car wash and while you are waiting, grab a dog and enjoy. A definite find! A “gotta try” when in Pawleys Island. Will add some photos soon, but we couldn’t wait to enjoy them today…also a ” Best Of” for 2021 and will likely be the same for 2022.

I’ve lived all over the country and this place has, hands down, both the best hot dog and best fried shrimp I’ve ever had. Incredibly reasonable prices and unreal food. I’ll be back soon!
