Cute spot, nicely decorated. Some fantastic dishes and some that didn’t go so well. We are a challenge with food allergies but were thrilled to see an (out dated) GF and DF menu. The clams were delicious but served with bread to our GF person. Um… oops. The DF person had to run to the bathroom after, so that didn’t work out well. The pork chop was cooked perfectly but incredibly oversalted. The crusted rockfish and bisque were quite good. The staff were very sweet and worked hard, but not trained up quite yet. So, all in all, if we didn’t have food allergies, we would definitely come back. But alas…

A refreshing break from the norm, with a peaceful view off the back deck. Service was excellent, taking the time to talk to me to help with lunch selection. Food was also very good, and I’ll be taking my g/f next time I go.

So wonderful to have a new place to dine on the island. We started with the mussels for an appetizer, it was delicious! My grandmother had the Pasta primavera and I the pork chop. Both had well balanced flavors and prepared properly.

I really enjoyed my dinner I had the bacon wrapped dates which were amazing I had the risotto just the way it comes and it was delicious I had a lemoncello margarita really good and for dessert I had the apple crumble oh my I’m a baker and that was top-notch apple crumble The pecans Make it amazing. The bartender that has red hair with the beard I didn’t get to catch his name but he was amazing he was running circles around everyone and I was watching him make drinks and he really knows his stuff. I will definitely be back I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and my time at Blue heron.

We stopped in during the friends and family event but we’re welcome to sit at the bar for drinks and appetizers. It was wonderful to see such a significant change to the decor. The service was very friendly. Only critique would be it’s still quite noisy and the lighting was a bit harsh. We are very happy and excited to have this new restaurant here on the island.

Friendly service. 45+ minute wait from ordering food to receiving it and it was not busy. Had a drink order error. Medium rare steak was served medium well (more well than medium). Salt on the oysters and fries was very excessive. No tarter served with oysters, but they did provide ketchup. Salmon and rice was bland. I could tell the quality of the food was good until someone ruined it in the kitchen.
