We went to The Chalet in Somerset last night to have a wedding anniversary dinner. Everything was magnificent- the venue, service, presentation and food! We are fortunate to have a restaurant of this caliber in Somerset. It easily beats some of the 5-star Michelin restaurants where I’ve dined. We will definitely be going back! ❤️

We had made reservations for The Chalet for our Anniversary with high expectations. We’d heard very good things – not to mention great looking food pics& quaint/refined look of the restaurant. The menu prices weren’t that big of concern as it was a special occasion and we occasionally eat Ruth’s Chris, Jeff Ruby’s, Tony’s of Lexington, etc – so were accustomed to exorbitant prices for really great food…when its merited.

We absolutely loved our experience at the Chalet last night! It’s hard to believe this hidden gem is tucked into the heart of Lake Cumberland and 10 minutes from downtown Somerset! The atmosphere is amazing and we loved sitting out on the deck enjoying the weather.

We really enjoyed this fine dining experience! Very intimate and lovely options in the menu, the filet mignon was delicious and the shrimp dish was good but lacked a little bit of acid. Definitely recommend!

After hearing nothing but compliments about this restaurant, I decided to drive all the way from Georgia to experience this place. I can not express how blown away I was by it. The service was phenomenal, and the atmosphere was high class yet cozy.

A truly hidden gem in the Somerset KY area. While dinner can be pricey, I can assure you that it was worth every dollar. The meals were prepared exactly as ordered. This is no fast food place so expect your meal to take appropriate time to prepare, as all custom gourmet food should. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and attentive. There is both indoor and seasonal outdoor seating available. There is also a take out window easily accessible for those to go orders. I highly recommend anyone looking for a unique, great meal away from the noise of the surrounding city give The Chalet a try.

Amazing gourmet experience. This is truly a diamond in the Somerset rough. We went for lunch and will definitely return for dinner. The food was incredible and the staff was very cordial. The Chalet definitely made us feel whisked away to a far off place. Our time there felt very special and we left in awe, eager to go back. Thank you for a memorable time.

Great atmosphere! The food was a B+ and the service was a C. We sat outside and it felt like our table was an inconvenience to the server because she was so busy inside with other tables. The mashed potatoes and the dutchesse potatoes were cold. The salmon was over cooked but the beef wellington, pork mignon and chicken chalet were great!
