Food and service was good. The server and cook were attentive. I am not a smoker and they allow for smoking in this establishment. Even with that I would go there again.

Nothing fancy— just a sausage, egg and cheese biscuit with cheese grits. They don’t skimp on the butter. Sooo good! Good food, hot coffee, friendly service. I love it here. The cigarette smoke is a bonus if you’re sentimental and miss the 90s

It’s like waffle house had a baby with a landfill. Dont bring your kids in there if you care about their health. They still allow smoking in there and it’s just gross. There’s roaches crawling everywhere like their pets or something. I think one of them had a collar on. The health inspector must have been paid off in cigarettes and burnt coffee. Cause that place is just oozing with the yuck. See that dumpster picture? Smell it and eat out of it, not only will it taste and smell better than the actual restaurant…. It’s free and the roaches already have a place to live next door so they won’t bother you in there.

This is not the same neighborhood Griddle House that I remember when I lived around the corner 5 years ago. A ‘griddle house’ that could not make a pancake or waffle at noon! Sad…

Excellent place to eat! The waitress was very kind polite and hospitable. Everything was prepared/cooked very well and served quickly. Only thing I didn’t a appreciate was the murmering and laughing about what must have been an inside joke. I felt a tad uncomfortable.

Extremely racist. Tried to go a few years back gave every excuse not to let us in door. would not let me and black wife in door. White friend was with us and suggest we leave because we weren’t welcome. We are from up north and traveling down south to experience that still sticks with me today. I’m here again visiting and passed the restaurant and finally decided to write the review
