We loved the buns, the crispness of the cabbage on the sandwich and the option for doordash delivery. However, we were disappointed in the amount of food for the cost. I understand that delivery costs but before a tip; the two items pictured were $38.80! Plus I was still hungry as 4 slices if brisket is too much meat for me but I needed a side. I’d rather have 2 slices brisket with coleslaw. The side of coleslaw is $5 (on site or $6 delivered) and I was grateful the sauce was on the side as neither of us much cared for it. The meat is good not great.

The brisket bun did not disappoint. At first I was worried about the price, but I’m more than happy to support bold flavor and local business! Sauce was sweet and hot, meat was delightfully tender. Note: I poured the sauce on the meat in the picture – couldn’t wait!

I wish this review was about how little meat was in my mostly-fat half-pound brisket, but unfortunately it’s about how what little meat there was had no smoke flavor and tasted more like pot roast cooked in a crock pot. Some fat is okay, but this is nothing like what the pictures the owners uploaded show, nor did it taste anything like what the reviews led us to believe, which said it would be smoky and flavorful. Hopefully this was just a bad batch or an off day, but beware because this could happen to you, too. $14.50 for maybe 5 bites of bland pot roast–not worth it. Similar story for the pulled pork. Quite disappointing.

Just had a first time experience with the food here and both my girlfriend and I LOVED IT. The bbq stuffed buns are melt in your mouth delicious. The Mac and cheese was the best I’ve had in the whole area. This is not to disregard how delicious the brisket sandwich, potato salad, and even (to my surprise) the pickled onions were. You can tell they only sell the most delicious recipes they create of every item.

Really great service and very smoky bbq. We ordered the ribs, pork belly, and brisket. The smoky flavor permeated throughout the meat. The flavors were delicious. No sauce necessary with the rub flavor, but they had multiple sauces including a delicious mustard based sauce if you desire. The brioche buns were very soft and tasty. Loved the corn bread. The guys gave us great service. Highly recommended and we’ll be back.

This could absolutely be a 4 star place if the pork ribs were made with better, less cartilaginous meat, the pulled pork was pulled more and had better flavor on its own, and the brisket was a little more flavorful. The BBQ beans were delicious and perfect. The potato salad and cornbread were acceptable, but not amazing.

First of all whoever said that’s the best Mac n cheese in town, you’re obviously living off of Kraft because this places Mac n cheese tastes like boxed velveta brand with some onion topping. Not impressed at all by that. On to the meat, the brisket was just OK, definitely over cooked, No pink at all in it but tender enough. The fat to meat ratio was 50/50, so we got 1/4 lb of edible brisket. To try another meat we got the smoked Turkey. It’s mostly dry tiny slices. Hard to even make a sandwich with but it’s edible for that I guess. The food wasn’t hot by the time we got it home, it needs to be wrapped in foil or something to keep it warm for a 10 min drive. That’s quality control if you offer to go! The BBQ sauce is amazing as was the mustard sauce. The sauces are why I’m giving 2 stars but there wasn’t that quality in the main part of the meal at all. Also, we wanted to try the sampler but don’t like pork belly and they wouldn’t even allow an upcharge to get the 3 meats we’d eat. So for 50 dollars, we got 2 very mediocre meats, some cheap tasting Mac n cheese and a couple good sauces and are still hungry! Disappointed big time in sugar foot bbq. If I had to choose to eat anything I got today again, it’d be the brisket on a sandwich of some sort smothered in the sauces: that’s the only way it’d be satisfying. They didn’t have the buns everyone raves about on a Thursday evening. Bummer. We are still hungry after 50 bucks of bbq. Fail!

We just ordered the sampler which included two sides plus another two sides ordered. This fed three of us very well. Let me tell you, it was delicious! The meat was buttery tender and so flavorful. The macNcheese was to die for. The slaw and potato salad was excellent! I would recommend this place for an excellent country dinner. It is so nice that it is only a couple of blocks away from us.

This place is amazing. I judge a bbq place by how good the mac and cheese is. This was amazing. If they do amazing things with the simple things then the rest has to be amazing. The Buns were amazing. Have never had these before. Awesome idea and brilliant. Beans and coleslaw did not disappoint either. Will be back when I am back in town. Order early as they do run out. Which is another sign of a good bbq place. Great job!!
