It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

We didn’t even get food and they weren’t busy… waited 30 min for our order to be taken until we left. The lady working on 09/02/23 said there will be a wait and then walked outside empty handed. Everyone was just standing with a screen full of orders… she then said that there is going to be a hold. Two more groups left before we did … this used to be my go to Whataburger in Hutchins and it’s gone downhill. Very disappointing. Management needs to take some accountability in their people

I placed a mobile app order for just a Junior cheeseburger. Nothing else added. It took me over 20 minutes just to receive this burger. I checked in at the register and after 15 minutes a lady saw me pacing and asked me what I was waiting on. I told her mobile app order. She told me that they were working on it now Five minutes later the manager looked at me and asked me what I’m waiting on. I told him and he suggested that I should have checked in which I did to two different people and he told me my burger was ready and had just been waiting. No names were called out. No trying to make sure I was satisfied. No Nothing . This manager was the rudest manager I’ve ever dealt with in this place was a slow as place, I’ve ever seen.

Everytime I order from this location they always miss a item. I’m paying up to $35 to get half an order. I know y’all work there but can you all take your time and make sure everything is in the bag. It is about your performance. It’s questionable on if people can trust you doing the job you’d signed up for. My business is gone and I will not recommend this location if asked.

I went here on third day of the third month of the third year at 3:33 and I ordered the number 3 large with a Powerade no ice. I asked for extra jalapenos and they said right away sir here are you’re little peppers sir. I enthusiastically consumed my burger and tots and was like yum this is neat burger. I then proceed to wash down my tasty meal with my equally as tasty beverage. I will return many times with my money and proceed to pay for burger and tots and drink and jalapenos that they provide. I went here to close out my birthday. The person on the menu seemed to be distracted as I repeated my order several times a number one no mustard hold pickles with cheese grilled onions and avocado. My burger came out plain regular onions with mustard no cheese ughhhh I hate sending food back and they were not too busy. I go here often. Usually the best service is the late night service. I can’t say I’ll be rushing back with all the other burger options but when I do I may change my review hopefully. This was 7/25/23

The food is usually pretty good here. 60% of the time, the order comes out wrong, though. Always a long wait unless you go late late at night. But even with all that, i would much rather go to this whataburger than the other ones nearby.

Went in this AM and ordered a Breakfast on a Bun. I added grape jelly but after tasting the bun. The cook decided and added mayo as an option on my breakfast bun. That was the worst breakfast I have ever had. Wont return to this one WAB truck stop.

It’s 3pm waiting in the drive through with one car in front of me. I’m still waiting and haven’t been acknowledged. Why am I still in line.? The food is usually good, but I hope it’s worth this wait at this location… I maybe have been here at least 10 minutes… and now there’s nobody in line
