Fulshear used to be a sleepy little community, now more than 25,000 people call it home. This huge influx of people could be because of Dozier’s. Seriously they serve some geat barbeque and chicken. Had a meat meal of half a chicken with two sides, a german potato salad and baked beans. Other meal was barbeque tips and an egg potato salad. The fountain drinks are Texas made and use cane sugar. This is a must stop.

Walking in, you get a waft of sweet smell of smoked meats, but contrary to my expectations, the place was very clean kept and organized. It’s the right balance of comfy homey and maximized space. The staff were very friendly to explain the process and we’re happy to answer any questions about the place even the most tedious ones such as where to get the silverware. The seats and atmosphere were really accommodating and nice and the food was really up to par or beyond other bbq places I’ve visited. Would visit again if I ever need to suggest someone who hasn’t tried Texas BBQ in the past.

The brisket burger is a monster!! If you’re hungry, this is a meal in itself. Very tasty.

Ordered brisket (moist, not lean), pork ribs, and German sausages.

The food was okay at best, especially for the price point. If I wasn’t so hungry, I would have gone elsewhere.

I have lived here and been coming to Doziers for over 20+ years. I had a plate and it was extremely disappointing to the brisket being way over-cooked and falling apart when touched. The ribs being over-cooked and charred. The sides were very good. I hate leaving any review that is sub par and just really hope it was a bad day!

Visited for their new brunch experience. Between us we had Brisket on a Biscuit, Chicken Fried Brisket and Pancakes, Brisket Hash, and The Burger. To drink we had tea, Cranberry Mimosa, and a Michelada.

We had a great experience at Dozier’s. We had the moist brisket, pork ribs, sausage, sides of Texas caviar, and potato salad, and they were all excellent. The moist brisket was exquisite with a smoky flavor and seasoning. The ribs fall off the bones as one would expect, and the sausage was terrific. The staff were amicable and told us how to order as we go down the food line – cold items first, then the hot items. We will go back there to eat again. Love this place!

I just wish they had posted prices on the meat market and store side. Saw lists of yummies! Grabbed a few fresh beef jerky for road snacks. They were so delicious. Brings back lots of happy memories with jerky that’s not mass processed and or packaged. And I love the ambiance!!!Thanks guys!!!

This place used to be great a long time ago, so I brought my parents over an hour away to visit and purchase meat from the butcher shop. We were hungry, so we ordered sandwiches, and the bill seemed a little high. I went to the counter and questioned the bill and was met with hostility from a young dark haired male with glasses claiming to be one of the managers. It was discovered that my elderly parent was over charged, and instead of apologizing, the young boy became confrontational with me due to my complaint. He then said loudly that he didn’t want to help me, left the counter, and proceeded to visibly bad mouth me to every other employee in the store, and in a tone where other customers could here. Even with the inconvenience of the overcharge and embarrassment of having to even deal with this situation, the Hispanic lady/cashier who claimed to be a manager refused to refund or replace the disgusting chopped (ground) beef sandwich that my mom could not even eat. See the picture below. The beans were bland disgusting as well. A restaurant interested in customer service and retaining customers in this economy would go above and beyond to apologize and refund or at least replace the sandwich, but she refused to do either, instead offering to throw a little bit of sliced brisket on the already disgusting sandwich. What qualified manager or decent establishment would treat a customer, especially an elderly customer in that manner? This place is clearly not geared towards providing good service to every customer, so think before you go to this establishment. The sad part about it is that we left without getting the butcher meat that we actually came for due to the treatment received in the hot deli. We wasted three hours of our travel time and gas. This will be the last time we visit this establishment.
