Flying Swine Seasonings
Being a part of the food industry, I am always on the lookout for that special place doing special food. My wife brought me here the other day and I needed something low carb and meaty. I ordered just Roast Beef. Oh my goodness! It was by far the best roast beef I’ve ever had!!! The food was great, the people were so kind and helpful, the place was packed and the prices are astounding. They hit on all points and that is almost unheard of in a lot of places. What a great representative of what Indiana has to offer in such a perfect way. I’ve found my new favorite.

It’s a buffet style Amish home cooked food. Everything was absolutely delicious. The homemade bread and butter were tasty. I had a piece of the chocolate pie and I’m pretty sure it was the best chocolate pie I’ve ever had. There’s a little general store where you can buy some unique gifts. If I’m back in the area I’ll be back.

The Traveling Man
We stopped while passing by and had never heard of this place before. We ordered two sandwiches, two sides and two drinks. All of which were good. It was around $14 for both so not bad. There were a few people who came in not wearing a mask including a rude older man the staff knew by name. Overall, I might stop in if passing by but wouldn’t go out of my way to eat or shop here.

Nice place to eat. Great sandwiches. Used to be a better place before they moved to the current location. I guess even the Amish have been hit by inflation. Prices were very high!!!

No buffet, website needs update. Met a friend I have not seen in years but couldn’t hear each other over vacuuming. Was 2 hrs till close and only ppl in the dining area, had to ask her to please postpone clean up as our time was limited. Food was ok.
