First time I’m leaving a review for something. I just paid almost $50 for two lobster rolls that were smaller than a hot dog. I understand the cost of shell fish high but this is ridiculous. I could’ve went across the street to pavilions and bought 9 lobster tails and a loaf of bread for the same price. Don’t go here.

What a dud. I dont care what a lobster roll costs. When i order one, i’m not thinking about price…. i’m thinking about lobster. I want lobster… pack the roll full of lobster! More bread here than lobster…. even less lobster than a hot dog.. but they did include some shell. now to figure what i’ll eat for dinner.

I got the lobster roll and clam chowder. $22. The lobster roll was super gross so extra greasy from the butter the lobster was tough plus it had no flavor, seasoning nothing. The chowder was ok it has clams bacon celery chives but the roll was so gross I couldn’t even look at the chowder ..

The portions are small, but the flavor is on point! One of the best clam chowders I’ve had, good depth. Lobster roll is tasty too.

Smallest lobster roll I’ve ever seen. 2 maybe 3 bites. For $21. And the guy working the truck was so unhappy and so unfriendly. No thank you or smile even though I said thank you twice with a smile. Never again will I get anything from this truck.

This truck is a ripoff. It seriously put me off Lobster rolls for the longest time because of how expensive these were with barely any lobster in it. Nope, a real lobster roll actually does pack in the meat and use much larger rolls. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS TRUCK.

I am from Maine and my Dad had a huge seafood restaurant where lobster was the specialty. The lobster rolls from the Lobsta Truck are a joke. Two bites and you are done and if you want a normal size lobster roll like you would get in New England, you have to pay more for extra meat. Who does that? They are stingy with all their portions, and that’s the biggest killer of repeat business. I tried them twice and a complete waste of money. Never again!

Very glad to find this truck after moving here from Boston! Love the warm roll drenched in butter–the roll is half the reason why these lobster rolls are so good. The lobster bisque is rich and the clam chowder is also good. The portion is a little small, so I recommend getting more than one item 🙂 As for the bad reviews below, this is good value for the money, considering how much lobster costs elsewhere.

If you want to spend $15 for 2.5 bites of food, go for this truck. I wondered why there was no line, I can’t imagine they get any repeat customers. See picture, with quarter for scale.
